Build a greater filter for new profiles that are scammers. Usually these profiles are accessing Grindr from a computer. Be able to identify if they are new or false, if they connect from PC or mobile, etc.

The same profiles pop up again. It seems that only a certain amount of Blocks are allowed.

There are suddenly so many fake profiles with the ratemyshaft.com or ratemygirth.com in their profiles. Surely you can just block them all!

I saved all my pics and messages over the time that I was paying a subscription- I think it is completely ridiculous that essentially I paid for these communications and don’t believe you are being fair or possibly even following the consumer laws in Australia by now restricting my access to them. I understand and have no problems with you restricting or limited the service from the time I had to canx my subscription due to COVID-19, but it is not right to take away my access to what I paid for, and I might add it’s a premium fee you charge and I’ve endured lots of issues with your system dropping out. Double charges and bombarded by spam. So you’ve made me think twice about renewing when I am back working.

I get at least 3 messages a day from accounts telling me to go to GayFun.org or something else. It’s testing my patience at this point, and it’s not enough to block these accounts after they’re created. A way needs to be figured out to prevent or at least reduce the creation of bot accounts, as seemingly nothing is being done. If the app is all bots it will drive users away.

Stop people showing ratemygirth

While I am a paid member and used the expire photo feature frequently, I wish I could prevent people from saving my profile pictures or screenshoting it.

I will be putting in a complaint to authorities consumer marking today. I’ve also put in a complaint with Apple, who have stated Grindr has no authority to put a block on my phone IMEI. They are taking the complaint very seriously.
Grindr is still ignoring my messages. just closing the message & stating the request is solved. The customer service is appalling & I will also be sending emails to all LGBT magazines & news websites. As I’m sure there must be so many people who have suffered this from Grindr & people using or considering using need to be aware.
I suggest you lift the block on my phone Grindr & Stop ignoring me & get in contact with me.

Quickly delete all [dot com] in profiles. A better job of verifying if the person signing up for an account is an actual person or a bot generating accounts. At this point, it's hard to believe that all these bot profiles are not in conjunction with Grindr support.

It's just frustrating how long it takes for a profile photo to be approved sometimes to finally not be approved even tho there's no nudity and complies with the app standards

Tired of seeing all the spam/bot profiles. Prevent them from showing up, about to the point I don't want to even use this app because of all the spam/bots, it's f****** annoying.

So fucking annoying to receive messages from fakes every single day.

Same applies to porn ads of other websites.

Good morning Grindr Customer Support

I with further to the suspension of my account and my Apple device.

A Data Subject Access request was submitted through your UK representative, Datarep as requested by Grindr customer services. Datarep have confirmed they have responded to all requests but the failure to supply the data falls within Grindr itself. Therefore please can you confirm you have received theses requests from Datarep? If so, the reason for your refusal to comply. Your refusal shows your contempt of European Data Laws.

I further wrote to you asking if you could confirm that my device to access my Grindr account had been restricted from the Grindr servers. Therefore you registered the IMEI of the device on your servers to stop any future use of this device being used to access a Grindr account and I further asked if you had registered the IMEI of my device on any other servers. My devices manufacturer Apple had asked me to confirm this so I awaited your response. Apple have stated they would not expect any of there devices to have any restrictions applied when there App Store provides both a free and a subscription Grindr service app. Yet again you have failed to respond to my previous request. Please could you explain why?

I have now written to the Authorities Consumer Market advising them of my position and your unwillingness to co-operate. I have suggested through many LGBT forums as a matter of urgency that the many other European Grindr users that have found there device has been restricted from using the Grindr service writes to them and make a compliant.

I would ask that you respond to the above points raised and look forward to a speedy reply.

To all European Grindr users: report Grindr at the ACM in your country, Authority Consumer Market- when Grindr gets fined they will change faster as tot imagine.
