The icon disguising was a great feature but as soon as one opens the app that high contrast blue-orange-black chat window is a dead giveaway.
I would love a grey-blue-white(iMessage) option so I look like I’m replying to texts from my mom not cruising for *** with strangers.

This has to done - let us chose what colour/skin we want - it will make using it more discreet - and also let us choose from a selection of notification sounds (not just the standard one or nothing) as the current one is a dead giveaway and can be quite **** embarrassing and awkward!!!

How about blue and white option so your boyfriend can’t look over your shoulder and see orange and black and immediately know what you’rs Doing.
The privacy app icon is meaningless if ur partner is familiar with Grindr. Okay duh

When using Grindr it has a bold yellow scheme design which, thanks to negative media reporting on some horrific Grindr dates gone wrong, means that many people now recognise the App and it’s colour scheme. I’d prefer to browse or send messages more discreetly if I’m in a public place so please can I change the coulour scheme through settings? I already feel I need to hide the App as it’s too bold & distinctive. In responding to this, Please don’t lecture me about being out & proud.

Some people have mental disorders/neurodevelopmental types, ADHD, ADD etc as well as Dyslexia. The chat colour bubbles do not help people with these conditions and in fact, could agitate said disorders. Can we please see customizable colours, so that people will feel more at ease with chosen colours. Not all gay men are able-bodied and some gay men have hidden mental health conditions. Lets really talk about equality and make all men equal and not just the next top model! Thank you. It would also help elder gay males and men with sight issues. Thank you!

At the moment, the Grindr name will remain on screen when Discreet App Icon is on.
