Well since every app have a story “pictures mostly” you can create a text story
It let people know whats going on in your head
Or what are you in the mood for today
Or a thought going in your head
Instead of keep changing the bio everyday or change the profile picture every other day
It would make it easier for people to approach.
Having a small circle of the story above the chat on the profile
Makes you open the story text of the day, a platform to express your thoughts and needs.
And for the ultra and extra you can have the (who viewed your story)

There are many discriminating filters but could you please turn off at least one, ethnicity. Business do not allow only one race to come in and shop or drink, why should a “dating /hookup” app allow people to be races by filtering only white or Asia’s or blacks or Latinos and the list goes on. If users want to be races don’t make it easy for them to be races and turn on a filter feature. The same races users can either see the profile picture or ask using text.

More characters for bio for unlimited members.

With only 9 votes there is no chance. Am sick n tired of the limited word count. It gives a bad impression when it is so short and has to be to the point . People are sometimes stupid and presume it's you when I have to keep it to the point because the word count is so small. I really hate this app for this feature

Please add ’size’ as a sexual variation. It means That you are gay But not prefer analsex. It should be added to show variery amongst gay men.

As other have said, I think the profile text limit needs to ideally be removed entirely or increased considerably so to allow from a bare minimum of 1000 characters anywhere up to 5000 characters.

The option to filter out profiles that dont match watch youre looking for is great. But also having the option to have your profile to not appear on theirs would be even better.

Hey guys! Husband and I just sending some feedback on your app. Would it possible to extend the space for profile description as it's way too short as well as add more features and a link to one's partner profile (like Scruff, your biggest competitor)?

Look I'm a free user...i look for quick and close hookups but most of what I can find are a little out of range RN because I'm limited on how many profiles I can see which I will bring up later...i can understand having to pay for certain features but filters should never be paid for...filters like "distance" and "looking for" are a must for someone like me which also brings me back to the issue of limited profiles...ok..i see the same profiles at the top never changes but as I scroll down so far it comes up and says "hey you can view these below but you have to pay" I'm on month to month pay I don't have the money to spend to try to get a hookup...to view and chat with other people needs to be free....unlimit how many profiles can be seen...and the area that you describe yourself is also too limiting...need a little more room to describe ones self....also need to add a dom/sub catagory option in profile and filters

The ,"description" character limit on Grindr is considerably less than comparable apps e.g. Scruff.

Ideally increase this for all members but if not, at least increase for unlimited members given the high prices we pay for the app.

Allow more space in the "about me" section. 255 character is not enough for me

I’m not going to message someone based purely on looks alone.

I’d like to be able to focus my energy on people who’ve at least written something about themselves.

And it goes without saying 255chars for a bio is ridiculous.

I’ve much more in common with people who have similar interests, especially if I’m looking for friends. So being able to filter on people’s interests would also make sense. But god forbid you’d be able to add another field for that.

255 Characters for a bio is not nearly enough to describe yourself in the slightest bit, especially if you like to space things out so that it doesn't look so congested, I think minimum 1000 characters should be allowed

How about you just find out that information by having "a conversation" with someone? If you're someone who cares about another persons level of education I'd assume your own is to a standard where talking to someone isn't that difficult 🙄

Names should be 50 characters and About you should be 1000. Instead of saying Exibitionists wanted or liked it cut off at exhibitionist. Im not an exhibitionist but I like them. Also the 255 to describe even with little detail what you're about oa WAY TOO SHORT

Have a search feature that allows users to narrow down partners by whether they drive and/or accommodate. This will allow other to see who is nearby and save time and effort when connecting with people. This could be as a profile filter or a separate section like the new “Fresh” tab.

And filter options. There's literally nothing wrong with adding more of these because if you leave them out, it'd make no difference.

But for those who really want to accurately describe what their desires are, this could definitely coin a win for us. What I *can* understand is that the less on a profile the more room for chatting... but grindr is multipurpose so I'd say it's still a solid idea.

Here's some prompts/fields that could be put in:

Under Identity
- Are you: Masculine/Feminine/Androgynous/Other?
- Sexuality: Gay, Bi, Straight, Curious, Other?
Discreet: y/n
Face pics: (same prompts as send NSFW?)

Options
- can host? y/n
- can travel? y/n
- driver? y/n

And all of these should have filters for them which would be so good! Also filters for ethnicity (again...), gender, all that stuff. I guarantee you'll get more people buying Xtra because of what it could offer with this suggestion.
