I came up with this crazy idea of including a skin tone color as a profile detail.
Okay, so hear me out. What is the reason why we put our race/ethnicity as a detail? Mainly to describe the color/tone of our skin; to describe our appearance. I just think that a color chart of the skin tone combinations would be a better metric than just the finite list of ethnicities. It would make finding that "ideal type" a little faster while giving a finer tool to describe ourselves. At least for me personally, using "mixed" doesn't really describe my appearance as accurately as I would have if I could just pick my skin tone, much like picking one for an avatar.
