There is an option in your profile "Accepts NSFW images" or something to that effect. You have the option to choose Yes, always, not at first, and No thank you. The "block" function is how you enforce your "No thank you" choice.

I agree having a similar experience, not traveling but it is a headache to get "unbanned" but even when you do "apologize for breaking community guidelines" that is bullshit because I didnt even understand what my violation was so I could not make the same mistake again. I have been banned twice and had to beg forgiveness for violating guidelines but never been told what I exactly did that got me banned. "One more and it's permanent" doesn't allow me to be sure I don't do it again, it just sets me up to have to make a new profile with a fake email and start all over. Not very user friendly

I agree completely. I live in a remote area and most locations are 40-50 miles away and due to small population, it is not unlikely to find someone outside my town but knowing if they are in Barstow, Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Las Vegas or California City is very valuable information for deciding to even start a conversation that may eventually lead to a trip out of town. 100 miles in all directions is not helpful.
