Disagree some of the best roots started with a tap. Nice way of saying hey I'm interested are you. Comments below about confidence, have you seen how some people treat others... no wonder some people start with a tap.

At the absolute minimum, give us a way to turn off push notifications for taps. I still want to get notifications for actual messages from humans, but tap notifications are just noise.

The only people who use taps are creeps and out-of-state spammers. Neither of which I want to receive communication from.

If I get a tap… I see a man that’s not confident enough to say hey what’s up and I discard… also it’s annoying with the phone notifications

let users choose to accept taps or not. provide option to disable.

Taps is good for civilized guys, when i see someone taps me and he is my type i'd tap him back stating "yep, you r my type" so he will say hi, and if i didn't he won't msg me... it is a good way of communication... i had my crush tapped me once and i've gone crazy :D

it's more like remove your tap when you pressed by mistake... this is very awkward cause the tap button is in a wrong place.

ELIMINATE THE TAP FEATURE AND END THE PROBLEM. Geez !

I believe the majority of Taps I've been receiving are from catfishers posing as handsome, well-built Asian men who are likely Tapping from a great distance. The rest are from faceless profiles not displaying distance. What good is just turning off notifications if Taps still go through? Also, what's the point of a Tap. If someone wants to say hi, he should just say hi in a mesasge.

Grindr Xtra accounts should be allowed to cancel TAP and FRESH features.

I AM A RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. LET'S FILE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST GRINDR FOR FRAUD. IF THEY SUSPEND OR CANCEL YOUR GRINDR XTRA ACCOUNT, THEY WILL NOT REFUND THE BALANCE MONEY THAT HAS BEEN PAID IN ADVANCE. THEY KEEP THE MONEY. THIS IS ILLEGAL. I PAID FOR THREE MONTHS IN ADVANCE, GOT SUSPENDED AFTER THE FIRST MONTH AND THEY DIDN'T REFUND MY MONEY FOR THE REMAINING TWO MONTHS. GRINDR IS MAKING A PROFIT OFF SUSPENDED ACOUNTS.

Let’s sue Grindr over not giving the option to remove taps as an option, and forcing us ALL to get harassing taps.

For those guys who don’t like to be tapped could turn taps on and off in settings

Since many of grindr users don’t understand the purpose of the tap function, make it an profile option. I’m sick of explaining to ppl that I don’t wanna talk to them that’s why I tapped them. Pls do this for the entitled attention seekers! Thanks. :-)
