Create something to filter out roaming
We need a filter that keeps us from seeing people who are roaming or do away with that stupid feature all together I'm sick of open someone's profile and they're 500 something miles away. Like wtf I'm gonna do with that make a new Penpal it's so dumb

Scam accounts using profile text & socials to try fish for victims.
All scam accounts ask you to contact them on their socials in their profile text. So make it against the rules to ask people to contact you outside of Grindr on socials etc. in your profile text. All the scam accounts do this and with this rule change it would be much easier to report them.

Bot strike system for money promoted meet ups
Have a bot that gives a strike system to people charging money for meet ups. It sounds like self trafficking/prostitution. And makes me very uneasy

Cyber security - 2FA/Verification/Logged in devices
The safety, security and privacy of users seems to be continually overlooked by Grindr up to 2024.
In meeting the user need for app safety and security would align with cyber security standards being adopted by many cyber vendors.

Allow “sides” to choose a second position
Individuals who click “side” as their “position” may do so because they somewhat prefer side action- but the label(and filtering category) “Side” may sometimes convey disinterest in anal sex completely, which is certainly not always the case.
I.E- there are many sides who are sometimes also very interested in anal sex. Unfortunately, other users may use the grid filters to exclude “sides” completely, thereby excluding many sides who are actually also very interested in anal sex.

Sex Position: Top, Bottom (not vers)
I am either a bottom for older men or top for younger men. It's is extremely rare that I am sexually attracted to a single person in which I want to do both. Therefore vers is not an appropriate selection for me. In other apps you can select multiple roles which accounts for this but not in Grindr.

To fix the scammers and fake profiles.
I would recommend an in app feature that allows to verify your self with a way thru Gmail or Facebook. Just my honest thoughts on it. It is definitely a pain. Also when the scammers are on here. It's always the same scam. same story. If the scams and fake profiles would just be straight up about what they want or are looking for that be great. Ban Straight Men and create a Trans only App
Ban straight men who aren’t interested in men that are only looking for Trans.

Fake Accounts
The amount of fake accounts are so bad it’s to the point that i am about to delete my account for good. It’s making the app trash and I don’t even want to have conversations with anyone for fear that they’re just trying to get my pics.. There needs to be a verification process. You can literally create a new account with a email address that isn’t even a valid email and bam 💥 just like that you have a new account within 30 seconds.

Grindr bans accounts without appeal
I've been banned on grindr for doing absolutely nothing and I will not stop putting complaints on grindr allows me to make a new account or unbans my old account. I'm so sick and tired of not be able to use a product I use to love. The many connections I use to make doesn't mean anything now!
