Turn Off Grunt as default!
Keep grunt off as default. There were several times this went off & I thought my phone was hacked. It was alarming. Keep usual tap sound not grunt. This grunt will definitely cause issues with privacy & anyone trying to be discrete. Not ideal for ppl in the closet.

Verified users
Social media sites often offer verification to users to ensure authenticity and safety to other users when connecting.
Grindr is often used by people that are closeted, shy and discreet, therefore even a profile that is verified without a picture would increase the chances to users to connect.32 votes -
Expiring photo spam
App should automatically Filter blank profiles that send only an expiring photo. I typically get a few a day. Blank profile messages nothing but an expiring photo and it's always advertising a porn site like NSAsex.net or something like that. Profile usually disappears after a few minutes as well

Nsfw pics "ask first" option
So for NSFW pics options. They aren't specific enough. Like, I want to have an option that says "Ask First". Because people think that "not at first" just means "don't send a dick pic first thing". Like. I want explicit consent options.

The Membership fee is too high and the free version offers too little: Not safe or fair Privacy=Money.
It's a fact other apps have been sued for overlooking the safety of their clients. It is not reasonable that a paying member gets incognito privileges to lurk & troll all, yet a free account suffers this secret observation by those with money. Having money does not guarantee your patron isn't some psycho, it leaves the unsuspecting others at theer y if those affording the ability to cloak themselves. Validate Profiles with Verified Users
Allow for users to have the safeguard option of verified accounts/users. As much as I enjoy all the offers for a sensual massage, it’s clear they’re not real users. This feature will allow additional safety and validation on an app that is so widely used.

Guys asking for money
Make sure that Grindr double check profiles from guys asking for money. To many of them.
Look up for signs like: Only Gen, Gen, no free sex, etc.

Blank profiles
Ok so we all know about Catfishing and you guys are letting far too many people get away with it. I honestly feel violated when i see that a “guy” with a blank profile has the nerve to say send pic for pic or looked at my profile possibly collected my pic and that’s it. Like wtf? Profile Verification With Verified Seal
It would be very nice if the profiles could be verified and that the verified ones received a verified seal.
That is important for the safety of users.
I have a problem with that because many guys block me as soon as I send them my photo, because they think I'm fake, and I'm not, apart from being handsome (and believed hahaha) I have a good body, and I take good photos in very beautiful places too so they think I'm fake and they don't give me the opportunity to explain myself, they block me.

HPV Vaccine Status
Add HPV vaccine (eg., Gardasil) as an option under “Vaccinated for” in user profiles along with Mpox, Covid, and Meningitis. May consider adding Hepatitis A and B vaccines too (eg., Twinrix).

Block IP addresses
You should be able to block IP addresses to avoid them being able to creat new profiles. I literally rejected a guy & he created 4 new profiles just to troll me since I rejected him. HOW IS THIS FAIR OR SAFE. I reported the profiles & blocked them & nothing. Just for them to create a new one. If you block the IP address they won't be able to create a new profile no matter what no through cell phone or laptop at least not in that location or devices which would make me feel safer. also make it…

Option to disable album sharing for all users at once
I have shared my album to so many users and if I want to stop sharing I have to click on each user's checkbox individually and then click on Stop Sharing.
Please have option to remove album sharing to all users at once.

HPV vaccination status
What about adding HPV vaccination status to the new vaccines section? Also resources and knowledge on the subject will really help the community.
Having recently contracted HPV through somebody on the app I don’t want to spread it and put someone through what I’m experiencing and it’s a turn off to bring up in conversation.
