Make it better?
You just removed a feature that allowed you to block people from the “viewed me” page.
You should be making it easier to block and avoid people. I’m not sure if you’re aware but there are a hell of a lot of creeps and horrible people on your app. You would be shocked by the abuse harassment and assult I’ve endured on your platform. You should be making it easier to avoid those situations not harder.
Here’s an idea, when I set the age limit to who I see on the grid only shows me to those people aswell.

Monkey Pox Vaccine Status
📆 Similar to "Last Tested" give is an option for when we get our 1st & 2nd Monkey Pox vaccine.
- Began Vaccination in "month"
- Options: "Received 1st Shot" "Received Both Shots" or "Vaccination period complete"
💉 It takes a very long time for the vaccine to become effective.

Pause Account or "take a break"
Sometimes I'm on holiday and not really looking to chat w/ people nearby. I still want to be able to browse but without getting inundated with messages from locals 😅

admin censorship
I did not know until recently that the admins of these particular websites like Growler or grinder 10 be local to the area and local to the actual members that are online this could come against a member if it was that the admin knew who they were and was actually some type of stalker or use this information they could see into the accounts and what the person was username or who they were maybe talking with as well as close out there account as soon as they start it

Transphobia is rampant on grindr
Transgender women are a large percentage of this app but there are LITERALLY NO SAFETY FEATURES TO PROTECT TRANS PEOPLE. this app is full of statements like “sissy” “cross dresser” and “sex slave” this is just fucking disgusting. It’s outright intolerant to let this happen. I’m ashamed of how violently sexual gay men can be to trans women.
TRANS WOMEN ARE NOT YOUR FETISH.

Grind or Nah
Grind or Nah. To encourage people to use actual photos of themselves bring that feature kinda like some other apps. A lot of cat fishing smh or you meet up with some druggy that’s been up for a month still up and ready to be weird as shit lol meeting up with people on here can be unsettling as it is. We all are gay that use the app and if you DL or whatever don’t use the app. Right now it’s like playing Russianroulette

Discretion Feature
My friend (and no that’s not a euphemism for me) is still in the closet. Recently, we were discussing this, and he was talking about a situation where family members had outed other closeted people because they found the app or it popped up and so on. Whilst we should celebrate coming out in the community, people also have their reasons for being in the closet and this should be protected. Grindr blocked user ID without providing evidence. It is like as it is depend on mood of grindr support team to block, just play, if support team had debate in family then for off mood user needs paid off ???

Mental Health Research
What data does Grindr have on the impacts to mental health in the community? Have you done research on the impact sending read receipts with no reply has to users? Do you see an issue with a culture of ignoring people? Do have have any data on how this might effect suicidal rates in the community based on your lack of action or acknowledgment?

Dump the new albums.
In theory, the new albums sound like a good idea. In practice, however, people have moved their once public photos to the private albums just because it's a new feature. Where I used to be able to look through profiles and see lots of pictures, now I look through profiles and see one picture with private albums.
It makes me not want to spend as much time on the app :-) that may be a good thing, I don't know.

Give the ability to show who has you as a “favorite”
Give us the ability to see who has you as a “favorite”. Thought it would be a good idea, since an ex or mine some how is able to see when im online and knowing he was too far out of the allowed distance for a free user.

Stalked by an anonymous guy
I am being stalked by a local guy constantly.
I have an open relationship with my guy. We are both allowed to browse the apps.
This guy favorities my profile and every time he sees me online he texts updates to my other half saying - oh he is back online looking and he can’t be that into you. Blah blah. My other half tells him it’s ok, but he persists in dripping poison.
It’s easy to say ignore. But it’s affecting my partner now. We are open in using the apps. But the constant jealous pressure is making us…

Allow Reporting of Blocked User
Allowing reporting of users who have blocked you in all locations and areas. This is a feature in some locations but not all.
When someone blocks you faster than you can report them because they know what they are doing violates site rules is not helping to create a better and safer site. Being able to report a user for violating site rules only allows the community to be safer. Fix “Show me on explorer” and Distance.
Even if these features are TURN OFF. It doesn’t work. New profiles still finding your profile and Taping you. NEW users text you Saying you’re close to them.

Allow users to opt out of being messaged by "recently joined" profiles unless a user initiated contact first
As Grindr allows users to have multiple profiles and unlimited or Xtra features transfer after a very short wait when switching profiles, the ability for abusive exes or stalkers to continue to pursue their victims by repeatedly creating new profiles to harass, bully, or threaten them renders the app unpleasant and at times unusable. Allowing individuals to opt out of being messaged by these profiles is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY as a free feature in the app to protect users.
