Grindr needs to have some type of Legacy contact info to help disable content of a deceased member. Seeing someone’s profile after they pass
Seeing someone's profile after they passed away can be quite shocking and disconcerting, There should be an easier way to alert Grindr of someone's passing, so that profile can be disabled quietly and respectfully. Neither a person's content, or their family should ever be affected by the Grindr profile. It's not a point of pride it's just a point of respect. You have alot of profiles on your app in the area that are being apart of a crime using knowledge of who i am by using it as a hate crime
You have individuals using your app and spoofing there location to go against innocent victims to encite anger towards myself. By harming my family members holding my mother hostage and confined in her home and leaving with my little 19 year old sister and raping her and putting her to do unspeakable things to them. Men are going in and out of there home and because of fear they aren't speaking out and it's wrong and it needs to be reported. Screen shots should be disabled during video calls
I could see screen recorder does not work while video calling in Gr. But we could still take the screenshots during vc.

Mock locations prohibited
Guys please allow the use of mock locations again. If this means we have to verify through a phone number like with scruff then that's fine. I can't date for almost 3 months now via grindr cause you guys are blocking the use of mock locations. I get the whole safety stuff but this is not the way to deal with that. Please guys 💔

Temporarily becoming invisible
It would be fab, to be able to ‘pause’ your account whilst undergoing treatment for STIs. The profile will not appear on the grid, in chats or in favourites. We could mark profiles we have hooked up with and then when ‘pausing’ our profile this triggers an anonymous message to recent sexual partners within Grindr.

Valid Driver's license or id
In order to use this app, a valid driver's license or ID should be required, for anyone who is worried about their info being leaked, all that would need to be shown is you're name and date of birth, and when it expires. I'm sick of being contacted by minors, and having to report them and track down their parents to tell them that their CHILD is doing this shady ass shit.

Appear online only within x miles
I think the option to only appear online within a certain radius of your location would be beneficial.
This could be used for people who travel, giving them the ability to appear online where they are, but not appearing online to people from their hometown.
This would have to apply to anyone who has you saved as a favorite also.

A "We Fucked" badge
Like giving someone a favorite star, only this function has a dual purpose. With the badge only being visible to the account holder that enabled it, another option would be made available under the sexual health tab. "I've Screened Positive"(or other wording) button would be available to all account holders. Once pressed, a check box screen should open (some that should not have the functionality to be unchecked, to decrease potential false/revenge action) and a save button. Discreet app icon update
The point of a discreet app is not be something random but all the options have hearts or something to do with dating. Can we create more options or maybe lets users generate icons by selecting a single emoji or from a selection of preconfigured icon.

Remove online & logged off profile quicker from grid 4 user privacy & less message disturbance once leaving app or silence till return featu
If the incognito feature can’t be made available free Members privacy and usage time rights should still considered. It’s increasingly disturbing the timing it’s showing a user is online after logging off with messages coming through hours after real time use of app. Often hours later messages arrive disturbing sleep social situations Understandably forever manually adjusting notifications etc will do this but if it’s to hard it’s a negative and like many starting to think it just getting harder to use App

Profile Photos
There seem to be more blank profiles than face pics. An in-app photo request for main profile pic would be great. This will hopefully keep the profile true, as I’m finding more people are creating fake profiles to snoop who is gay in their towns, which can be tough in small country towns
