Ads In Unlimited
After paying an outrageous price to have an "Unlimited" account, the very LAST thing I should see is an ad. The funny thing is, the fees are only the icing on the cake. Grindr is just too greedy to just blatantly overcharge for the app so they decided to further show how little they care by selling its users exact location data, down to the neighborhood. Our private information is sold to Campaign Organizations and large Cooperations to give them the ability to create Geo-Targeted AD's and AD Campaigns. This gentleman says it best;

The unlimited subscription is way too expensive.
Paying almost half of $100 every month for a mobile app has become too expensive. With respect, the monthly fee is similar to what most other paid apps charge annually for a subscription. The cost of a Grindr subscription for a year is $519.48, which is exorbitant. The cost of Xtra is still high, but comparatively reasonable. Please give us the option to opt-out of these inbox "announcements."
We pay you enough money. You shouldn't just bombard our inboxes with these offers and community events and announcements for studies. It's really invasive and it's not fair to those of us who pay you to keep ads out of our face.

Grindr has disappointed
You can no longer put a filter like leather, bear, mature, at most 3 profiles appear and not always. You appear ads with sound (which is illegal with sound) too many times in a row. It's a shame that they remove more and more things and the prices to have a normal version are like paying for Netflix... I wish we had as many options here as on Netflix

i request you to please allow manual location for grindr web version. it take location of my broadband provider location. when we use mobile app it takes location of mobile but in web version it take location of internet server which could be located far away from our actual location. explore here feature is there but while using explore here feature in am unable to use filters like online user etc.

The mobile web version is what I would like to use by default over the app and over desktop. as a paid feature, the inability to view albums is the core functionality needed, and without it, there is really no end user benefit

User Unfriendly App Design
Grindr is not User Friendly. Doing anything with relative ease requires you to have paid for it. basic requirements are behind a paywall, i can understand limited use for the free app, but not being able to send more than one expiring photo at once unless i am paying loads of money in a week is entirely unfair. the only reason people use grindr is because it's the most used in the world. not because it is good, not because they care, its because they hold the entire market under their thumb. Unblocking users by location ( unblock people in your area )
If you want to unlock user, you need to scroll by block date. If you could organise the list by location people near you instead of the date. It can be more helpful.

Offer lower cost for unlimited
Much better if they would offer lower price for unlimited subscription and higher the duration like atleast 3months or 6months renewal

Just some thoughts
Can you half the price? $AU60+ /pm is way too expensive, I get both Netflix and Disney+ for the nearly half the price. Can you add ethnicity to the web app and sync filters with mobile app and web app?
