In my opinion
In my opinion Grindr needs a pro section. Like other apps this would be an extra feature. Those who don’t pay but still try to be “pro” are to be banned instead of those that pay for the xtra/unlimited therefor losing money. It would really be a win/win for both parties.

Its outrageously expensive and when you do pay parts of the app arnt working and finally this app use to be for gay men now its not.
If you're going to charge such exorbitant prices 1. The app should work as advertised and not be full of glitches 2. The app should be for who it was designed for, GAY MEN, first of all require a face pic for every profile (if your too embarrassed to show who you are on a gay hookup site then maybe you shouldn't be here) it would also alert a person to trans people or women in general. Too Expensive
Even the one-week trial price is way too expensive. There are features that are great for protecting one's privacy being locked behind a paywall thats way too steep.

Dual profiles
Have dual profiles saved so you can swap out without retyping all the time. For instance one for when your looking to hookup and one for when you just want to chat or make friends. Can even swap all your tags out as well. Could even have a filter to sort who your looking for.

Ads In Unlimited
After paying an outrageous price to have an "Unlimited" account, the very LAST thing I should see is an ad. The funny thing is, the fees are only the icing on the cake. Grindr is just too greedy to just blatantly overcharge for the app so they decided to further show how little they care by selling its users exact location data, down to the neighborhood. Paying almost half of $100 every month for a mobile app has become too expensive. With respect, the monthly fee is similar to what most other paid apps charge annually for a subscription. The cost of a Grindr subscription for a year is $519.48, which is exorbitant. The cost of Xtra is still high, but comparatively reasonable.
