1. Taking away features after I've paid for them?

   I paid for Grindr Xtra with a set of advertised features. I now don't have access to those features because you've taken them away and put them in Unlimited only. That is shady as hell and I'll never pay for this app again.

2. Using Grinder Web. With. Edge browser on. Xbox Series S. Webcam nonfunctional. Voice clip nonfunctional.

   So the webcam is non functional. In your web page version of Grinder. Running on Xbox Series S using the Edge browser. The webcam is functional. Connect. Up and running and works to both record audio and video. In other apps I can use it to make calls in Messenger and video calls. Your app is unable to detect it and unable to ask for permission to use it. I'm using an Xbox. To access the Grinder web via the Internet. Via the Edge browser. And uh. Xboxes. Even if they are capable of providing location, which I'm not 100% sure that they are. Don't. So. There needs to either be a work around for that, like being allowed to manually enter your city. Or. You all just need to detect. That there's an Xbox anddd either ban them because they won't let you know where they're at or. Free your mind and. Let people tell you where they are. Maybe they might even tell the truth. I mean, they certainly need to. Or how else are they gonna find people where they're at? You could also query the Xbox for its. Input address. When you get the Xbox and set it up it asks you where it is and if you tell it the truth then that will be a back door to verify their address. Um. I'm voice to text typing this message using my. Headset. Which has both the microphone and audio output yet. Grindr makes no noises, no notification sounds. And refuses to allow me to record a voice clip as well. Um. Won't ask for permission to use my microphone. But refuses to stop asking for permission to get my location when that's not possible. I'm on an Xbox.

3. Just got something to say

   This is probably a bad idea because I've been kicked off of here I think 4 times without explanation. But here it goes anyway. When I first came to grndr just a few yrs ago it was the coolest thing . Without paying money wich my divorce made sure I didn't have . I could still meet people and talk to them and hookup. Now I'm back again. What happened. I've never had a problem watching ads. Buy uou have taken away the best feature w I ch was browsing. Where I used to see dozens now I'm lucky if you let me see 3. I'm sure you know there is a sub reddit about you huys and I have not seen a favorable take on there yet Keep taking away features and you won't have to kick people off . They will leave. And btw. You are the ones that told me to come back and one night I logged off and got the kicked off finger again. Make up your minds about who is off and who is on whats right and wrong and give back the things that once made you unique. 6. Important suggestion

   There needs to be more characters added to the about me section also a place to put your website in to the app because there is a section for music, but some people don’t have Spotify and some people wanna share their music just like Spotify but on the website, so please put a field for websites You can put a porno restriction on it if you want some people are not looking for hook ups they are just looking for love underneath it. All grinder should evolve to be more for love, or a section needs to be created for dating and a section needs to be created for different type of users, so that if they want to see a certain category such as men Tranny or any category for that matter should be split up in certain fields so that they have more of a filter to use your site

8. To sort the people in the right order.

   The whole point is to identify the kind of people that are suitable as per the requirement. So if I can put a label on the a profile which categorises it as a Yes , No or Maybe or a colour code to be available for me as user to do the same with my own categorization of possibly a smoker or sober. It will over a period of time help me organise the potential friends/matches.

    I hope this message finds you well. I am a long-time user of Grindr, and I wanted to share my concerns about some recent changes to the platform. Grindr has played a pivotal role in connecting and bringing together the LGBTQ+ community, but I’ve noticed a shift in its focus that has raised some issues.

    Firstly, the decision to group everyone from transgenders, transsexuals, bisexuals, homosexuals, and others into a single category feels like a simplification that doesn’t accurately represent the diverse experiences and identities within the LGBTQ+ community. It’s crucial to acknowledge and celebrate the unique aspects of each group.

    Secondly, the limitations placed on the ability to search profiles have been progressively increasing, to the point where free users can only see a very limited number of profiles. This restriction can be frustrating and discouraging for many users, especially those who may not have the means to afford a subscription.

    Moreover, the apparent manipulation of who can see profiles based on subscription fees rather than GPS location is concerning. The platform should prioritize proximity-based connections for the safety and convenience of its users.

    I urge you to consider the impact of these changes on the gay community and not solely as a source of revenue. While monetization is essential for the sustainability of the platform, it’s equally important to maintain the core values of inclusivity, diversity, and community-building.

    I would appreciate it if Grindr could take these concerns into account and consider making adjustments that better serve the LGBTQ+ community’s interests and needs. Your platform has been an integral part of our lives, and it’s our hope that it continues to be a positive and inclusive space for everyone.

16. Not being able to view members without paying for it.

    What used to be a fun and exciting thing to do now is a really frustrating,why bother type of deal. I mean you find someone that you may be interested in and then you can't see or find out anything about them unless you pay for it.
    One of the best things about Grindr was that it was free and available to everybody.
    Having to pay to see someone else's profile is rediculous and and takes the joy right out of the whole experience. It's a shame!

    I strongly recommend that the gay app reevaluate its current policy, which restricts access to the translation service exclusively to Xtra subscribers. This approach raises significant concerns about inclusivity, especially within marginalized communities where affordability is a significant issue. It's crucial to acknowledge that many users, particularly those from underserved backgrounds, may not have the financial means to afford a subscription. Language barriers can already be a significant hurdle for these individuals. By offering translation services only to a select group, we risk further excluding those who are most in need of such assistance. Effective communication is essential for fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance within the gay community, and our app should actively strive to promote this. Therefore, I propose that we explore alternative approaches to ensure that translation services are accessible to all users, regardless of their financial circumstances. This would not only enhance inclusivity but also contribute to a more united and harmonious gay community.

    I understand your business model, but I recently enjoyed a promotion whereby I paid 99¢ for a month. When it ended, I saw that a month of Xtra is $23.99. WTF??? Seriously, Grindr? You can’t charge like $7 per month and still make a profitable killing?
