Please prevent all of these fake female profiles that are flooding the site.
Fake female profiles are flooding the site. Scammers, hacks or bots are using the same profile info and female photos to ruin the site with undesirable fakes. It will drive loyal gay male users away if you don’t stop it. Give us filters and easier blocks. Hiding doesn’t stop these. They just constantly flood the site. And if we have to click on these pics we are trying to hide, AI will do the opposite of finding what members’ real types are.

Roaming location
Show exact distance of a profile when we are roaming from one location and when we choose some location show the nearest profiles not the profile which are far away from that location and also show the distance exactly from our own location to that location in current version when we choose some location and see the profiles it doesn't show exact location it only shows the state and city not show exact location and when we try to message them after that we can see our exact distance which most of times are far away from us like 50…

Spam is out of control
I'm getting about five or six spam taps and/or messages every day. The developers need to do a much better job of restricting these profiles. For example: if a new profile send a bunch of taps in a very short time; if a profile jumps location too quickly (i.e. location spoofing); if they have "visit my socials" in their bio, or is just a straight up "go to my website" message, etc.
There is plenty that grindr COULD be doing to stop this.

Bring back races
The amount of profile that puts up blatant racist content and then the inexperienced follower fools think that's the next trend. It's humiliating and honestly I begun to despise the ideas you bring on. I rather have fools to block by racial preferences and by that saving me another day to go through peacefully than to find bigots with small p**** and from background of stealing cultures trying to cancel others

Stop unwanted spam messages from transgender and only fans members
I would like to have a feature that can stop all messages from people over a specific distance from my current location. This would certainly help to limit the spam from transgender and only fans members that only message me for the purposes of subscribing to their page or advertise their services and content. It has become an extremely undesirable norm on Grindr and for the amount of money we pay each month there should be some sort of way to monitor this and prevent it from happening so frequently and over and over with different profiles of the same…

You could add an option for Xtra users to filter people by education and occupation, as many people like that.
Also by uniform as a fetish.
This would mean that everyone would have to include their education and occupation in their profile.

It’s a great apps, but is it only for the rich in Malaysia. Your discount boost itself RM49.99 is about an average income of a normal M’sian
Think about income parity and purchasing power parity. Even make me think to subscribe or buy 10kg rice , quality one. For the majority of Malaysian. The price is way off. Do consider many things before setting price. It’s like having Waze and you can’t get anywhere.

Get rid of bots/create a verification system
There are times when 8/10 users are all the same ‚person‘ with the same picture, stats and profile. These obviously are bots.
Get rid of these profiles and introduce some kind of verification/scanning algorithm to filter out these bots before they can even enter264 votes -

Ban users based on text string
I accidentally engage with 1 onlyfans creator and now I'm inundated with taps from guys who are only on grindr to farm olyf subs. Aside from it being slightly questionable on the data management side, it's having quite a negative impact on my experience and I'd like to be able to do something about it. I'd like to enter a text string and hide anyone that has that in the bio/description.

Instant Blocking
There's someone been blocking me the minute they would send me a message for the first time "ew". Like they'd do this repeatedly, unblocking me maybe a week after then doing it over and over. I suggest that instant blocking is trolling and should not be a thing. This latest wave of AI generated spam accounts combined with your increasing greed is ruining this app
The latest onslaught of fake Nigerian based scam accounts is the worst Ive seen in 8 years. Stop allowing accounts to be created behind a vpn. Legitimate users are prevented from using third party location spoofing apps to obscure their exact location but on the other hand you do nothing about the scammers use android emulators that you make no effort to stop. You frequently erroneously ban legitimate users device IPMIs and effectively force them to purchase a new device to use Grindr again.
