Greater control over escort profiles
It’s essential to have greater control over escort profiles on the platform. The increasing number of escorts are concerning and it’s not just about user experience, it’s about safety and not ignoring a big social issue. Tightening up control over keywords and certain emojis could help, but something must be done because that’s not what the app is about. Additionally, this issue must be addressed regionally, as some places face more severe challenges over this regard.

It would be an amazing idea to maybe actually reach out to a user when you get a violation report to gain their input rather the. I find myself in an unprecedented predicament and turn to you for assistance. Stop banning people and presuming they're guilty without even having context. How about a three strikes system instead of ruining everyone's night with an appeal. Grindr is owned by a videogame company. Surely it can understand that not everything is the way it looks.

Verified profiles
I am someone who puts my own picture on the display but a lot of times I am asked by users to share more pictures or video call for verification doubting my integrity. If we can introduce a feature of verification and get blue ticks in, match profile picture with my live photo, that would really help people feel that what they see on display is true and no other verification needed.

If someone is banned, tell them why
Tell someone why they are banned. The whole process is in reverse. The expectation is for me to read the grindr Bible without knowing what I’m looking for. Offenses are subjective. The whole process is a mess. Drug dealers and pedos inundate the app….I’m just trying to have fun. While having paid the annual subscription. .

Make it so Blank profiles can’t contact you
Have an option to where blank profiles can’t contact you. Sniffies has a setting where anonymous people can’t contact you if you choose it. That should be applied with Grindr as well
