Make the app useable
The app is unusable at this point, too many bots, too many ads and the whole browse tab is locked behind the paywall

Bonjour, je viens de baiser avec un mec sans capote. Consentant tous les 2. Rapide, il semble que chacun exprime sa satisfaction. Après son départ, il me remercie sur Grindr. Je lui propose, si ça l'intéresse de remettre ça de la même façon ou autrement. Il me répond que ce qui l'intéresse, c'est un plan unique. Je lui accorde que c'est son droit et que je ne l'importunerait pas car ce n'est pas mon genre. J'envoie. Il me bloque. Grinder is nothing but a suck ass app know days it doesn't operate right too many glitches to many bot trans profiles grinder got rid of things that we still want ethnicity filter and we want the block button black the distance don't match up with google maps its way off that needs to be fixed and grinder trying to get rich by price gouging price is way too high i can go on and on with what's wrong with grinder but grinder should know what they need to do, and fix it all and make Grinder the number one…

Grindr Isn’t Listening
Reading through the complaints and there are many. Some seem like quick fixes - especially in the age of AI when apps can be created much more easily. Grindr pricing is outrageous. What are we still doing here wasting our time, money and resources. Let’s pick another app and cross over to them - there are many options available- all wanting more business. Let’s take our profiles and go!

Remove restriction on number of profiles that we can messagr to using the explore feature on Xtra subscription
Xtra subscription now only allows 5 taps/chats while exploring which I'd ridiculous. I paid that extra amount specifically for the explore feature and now it's basically moved into the unlimited subscription

Please prevent all of these fake female profiles that are flooding the site.
Fake female profiles are flooding the site. Scammers, hacks or bots are using the same profile info and female photos to ruin the site with undesirable fakes. It will drive loyal gay male users away if you don’t stop it. Give us filters and easier blocks. Hiding doesn’t stop these. They just constantly flood the site. And if we have to click on these pics we are trying to hide, AI will do the opposite of finding what members’ real types are.

Bring back the old online-status! The new online-status marks users offline after just one minute
The new update (Version 26.2.0, Beta) marks people offline immediately (estimated max. one minute after being online). The "online"-Filter doesn't show anyone being active anymore, not everyone has the time nor motivation to use the app all the time (maybe that's what this 'new function' is supposed to be leading us to).
10 Minutes were perfect for making the grid seem alive.
I'd be fine with 5 mins too but this is too much.
I wouldn't like for people to know exactly from when to when I'm online.Why do you keep taking away functions that worked fine? You should…

Request to Add Religion Tags (Including Paganism) to Profile Options
I would like to suggest adding religion and spiritual identity tags to user profiles, including options such as Paganism and related paths.
For many users, spirituality and religious identity are important aspects of who they are. Having the ability to display this information through optional tags would help people connect more authentically and find others who share similar values, worldviews, or lifestyles. Not delivering messages if not paying
Today I started paying for unlimited Grindr and straight away started receiving replies from guys I messaged several months ago who’d never replied at the time, even though I had been a regular paying member. Which I find a bit suspicious.

Ads
Several companies have slowed their ad countdown way down to make the “5 seconds” last closer 10. Even the 30 second ads end up being longer. There’s no reason to have that many pop up ads with all the banner ads already there. It’s just greed, and I will not watch any ad through. I encourage others to do the same.

PROFILE PICTURE SHOULD BE MANDATORY
Profile picture should be mandatory and without exception. There are loads of people without pictures on this app and that is a major safety issue.
