Adding a function that shows what the other person is looking for, right away on the profile, not in the description.
Right now, the categories are hopeless and don't actually work properly at all. As if someone has a selected category that they want to meet to get to know each other and maybe want to be in a relationship, but they are only looking for sex.

Account filtering improvements.
Currently, there are a lot of profiles that are in relationships, or every other profile is looking only for sex. Which actually makes it very difficult to find someone for yourself.

The new look of the application.
The app needs a new design as many other apps are currently undergoing an aesthetic revamp. Compared to them, Grindr seems almost unchanged over the years and you can see that it has aged visually. The minimalist design needs to undergo a redesign for 2023. These are just a few suggestions that can improve quality, consistency and user experience.
Changes such as:
- Added nicer subtle curves.
- Added slim spacing between profiles, including visible spacing between content and advertising.
- Changing the dark gray background to black.
- Added much more animations and micro-interactions including pulse effects.
- Non-linear layout (removing only the top-bottom…

The group chat selection
Group chat selection as is does not show all favorites. It should be sorted by distance just like main page. I always have people who live in different states showing up but my neighbor never does.
Better yet be able to add people to the group chat directly from their profile. Click a button that is "add to group chat" and then you select which open chat you have to add them into (sometimes i have more than one chat).

Try telling people why they got banned
Literally, unconsensual nudes are an undying mould on the app with entitled, creepy cis men always throwing pictures of their dicks at people who explicitly state they don't want photos. I can almost guarantee half the people complaining about getting banned are one of the thousand faceless profiles sending unwanted nudes. Give repeat offenders a pop up saying "did you ask?" Before they're allowed to send a photo. Profile Info to Communicate what we want
We have the ability of using text boxes and drop-down boxes in the edit profile section to show who we are. Why not give us that same ability in our profiles to show what we are interested in? For example, if someone has a very fixed idea of what he wants in a guy, he can fill out that section of the profile using similar drop-down boxes currently there for your own information. reviews or testimonies from guys w heave met , and the profile holder to be able to make them public or private for other to read them
I think can be cool to be able to leave a review about someone we met , for fun or whatever. Il will make him anlredy genuine and will help others to feel more confident about new encounters , especially if they have a few cool reviews. It will also make the community to be more wise and respectful towards others . Less rude and more serous about what teyre after .

Fix Banning System
Called out a pretty obvious catfish for being a fake profile (but did not report them yet, which I now regret.) At this accusation, they got very upset and said that I was actually the catfish (I'm clearly not) and that they were reporting me as a fake profile. About 4 hours later, I tried to login and saw that I was banned. Was given no prior warning or opportunity to prove my identity in any way, which, as a paying customer, is completely ridiculous. Stop surpressing profiles of subscribers!
So, you've taken to suppressing the profiles of those who are paying you upto £300 a year, giving them the option to boost their profiles to be seen by more people? Are you really that hard up for money that you need to cash grab from those who are already paying for your service? That is low, even for you lot. Messages deleted
There should be a way to know if the other person deleted the messages which could indicate they aren't interested.
Instead of having to always block people who can't take a hint or think you're ignoring them, having it say "message deleted" on the other end would show the other guy isn't interested and deleted the message.
