2. Keeping track of plans

   Is it possible to add like a 7 day calendar feature for a rolling 7 days where we could either add available times of someone we are interested in or planned meet ups and just linking their profile to the schedule? It just gets hard to keep track of the availability and plans if it’s more than a day or two away.

4. Recherche par nom de profils

   Bonjour l'équipe Grindr,

   Je suis un utilisateur régulier de votre application et je tiens à vous remercier pour la plateforme que vous avez créée, qui permet de connecter des milliers de personnes autour du monde.

   Cependant, j'aimerais proposer une fonctionnalité qui, je pense, pourrait grandement améliorer l'expérience des utilisateurs. Actuellement, il est impossible de rechercher un profil par son nom d'utilisateur ou le nom du profil, ce qui peut rendre difficile la recherche de personnes après avoir perdu leur contact ou lorsqu'on a été victime de piratage.

   Voici quelques raisons pour lesquelles l’ajout de cette fonctionnalité serait bénéfique :

   1. Sécuriser les comptes piratés : Dans le cas où un utilisateur aurait son compte piraté, il serait essentiel de pouvoir retrouver et reconnecter avec ses amis, connaissances ou partenaires, afin de restaurer une certaine sécurité et tranquillité. Cela permettrait aussi de réduire l'impact négatif d’un piratage en facilitant la récupération des contacts et des interactions importantes.

   2. Reconnexion après une déconnexion accidentelle : Parfois, un profil peut être accidentellement supprimé ou désactivé. Avec la possibilité de rechercher un profil par nom, un utilisateur pourrait retrouver plus facilement un contact important sans devoir passer par un long processus de recherche dans sa zone géographique.

   3. Améliorer l’expérience utilisateur : Offrir une fonction de recherche par nom de profil permettrait aux utilisateurs de naviguer plus facilement dans l’application, en particulier ceux qui ont une large communauté de contacts ou des relations importantes à maintenir.

   Je suis convaincu que l'intégration de cette fonctionnalité pourrait améliorer l'efficacité et la sécurité sur Grindr, tout en contribuant à une expérience utilisateur encore plus enrichissante.

5. Safe Space LGBT+ Community

   Due to the rise of extremist movements that are inciting hatred against our community, I propose making Grindr a safe space with psychological support or AI assistance included in the app so that those who need it can go there and communicate with a professional. No matter how many years you've been on Grindr, you always encounter disrespect among members of the community (and it's not uncommon), and I think this step should be taken in some way to address what the future may hold for LGBT+ people.

   Me parece absurdo que cada vez tenga menos perfiles disponibles.... Reparen eso, al final la app no depende solo de quienes pagan, también somos indispensables los que la utilizamos de forma gratuita, pero si la limitan tanto obligan a buscar otras opciones.

7. Go back to showing ONLYreal taps not looks

   I’m only interested in real taps. Showing me who looked isn’t of interest and you just use it to sell yet a more expensive version of the app if I stupidly click on one. We pay a premium price as it is-soliciting us for more is annoying.

8. To have a seprate section in profile from when the person is using grindr.

   The idea is to avoid people make multiple profiles and delete. If the section displays from when the person has account in gr .. like member since: 2016.

   This might show the person is geniune and the crime rates involving this app can be avoided ..

10. 2FA & ID verified

    2FA for account security (duh)

    ID verified (optional) with the appropriate filter attached to confirm you're talking to real profiles. There are too many fake profiles being made, this would allow people to have the option to only communicate with people they know for a fact are who they say, while also allowing discreetness for those who chose to not participate.

12. How to get unbanned from Grindr

    Step 1: Back Up Your Data (Without Restoring It Later)

    Use iCloud: Go to Settings > Your Name > iCloud > iCloud Backup, then back up your phone.
    Save WhatsApp Chats: Open WhatsApp > Settings > Chats > Chat Backup and back up to iCloud.
    Manual Backup Option: Transfer photos/videos to your PC, and save important files to Google Drive.
    Important: Do not restore this backup after the reset—it’s only for safekeeping.
    Step 2: Factory Reset Your iPhone

    Go to Settings > General > Erase All Content and Settings to reset your phone.
    Step 3: Set Up a New iCloud Account

    After the reset, set up your iPhone as a new device.
    Create a new Apple ID with a different email and phone number (avoid using the banned number).
    Step 4: Install and Sign Up on Grindr

    Download Grindr from the App Store.
    Create a new Gmail account (on YouTube, when logged out, you can create one without a phone number).
    Use this new Gmail to sign up on Grindr.
    For phone verification, use a new number one from DatingZest Grindr phone service).
    Step 5: Restore Your Data (Carefully!)

    After Grindr is working, log back into your old iCloud to sync apps and files—but do not restore a full backup.
    Download WhatsApp and restore only the chat backup from iCloud.
    Now, you’re back on Grindr without the ban! 🚀

    I know there is an unlimited membership, and a Xtra membership, but it would be nice to be able to purchase credits to unlock features. For example:

    Buy 100 credits for 10 bucks

    Viewed me profile unlock: 5 credits
    View more profiles for 10 minutes: 5 credits
    Boost for 50 credits
    Go incognito - 10 credits etc.
    No ads for a specific time period - 25 credits

    The more credits you buy at one time the more they can be discounted.

    Periodically have sales on purchasing credits. For those already subscribed to xtra, have the prices reduced for credits or reduce the anount of credits needed to unlock certain features.

    I think this would give people the option to pick or choose what kind of features they are looking for out of the app, and give them control over their own experience.

19. Cambiar etiqueta "faje"

    Hola,

    En España la palabra "faje" no se entiende. La traducción de "cuddling" sería "mimos" aquí.
    Y si queréis asegurarlos de poner una palabra que se entienda en todos los países hispanoparlantes, recomiendo simplemente poner "abrazos". Creo que sería importante cambiarlo, porque es la única etiqueta que va en esa dirección. Y "faje" no solo no se entiende, sino que se puede malentender, porque según la RAE "fajar" puede significar "pegar a alguien" también.

    Así que mejor poner "mimos" o, más en general, "abrazos".
