3. Updated the app today Nov 22 and now its really slow full of more glitches it already had. Im paying for a subscription and im not likint it

   The app it's being turning annoying lately with the advertising of reach more views every time after I closed it and some glitches, but today Nov 22 I did an update and the app is full of glitches and really slow I have to reset my phone every time to make it work, reseting the app itself it's not even enough. It's turning into the most annoying thing for the past months specially today. Please fix it

4. A validity system that maintains your privacy.

   I am DL and for me it's so hard to want to share my photos. And you can say whatever you want but I'm just not there yet you know? And why should anyone have to conform their lives to the app. And I like to keep my private life private , even if I am known to everyone I just feel like it's not something to be all in your face with. It's a called a private life and that's why you originally found adds online in the PERSONALS. But I actively have people that are on the app just dying to get a shred of my personal information as they literally make accounts making fun of me and they say shit that I would pick up on and they message me and they will try to get me to send pics but as I have my process they usually fail. I don't know if they have fooled me yet as to ascertain my personal information under false pretenses or not but if they were to , they would absolutely use it to torment me and likely hold it over my head for while before using it to embarrass the hell of out me and to just overall wreak havoc on my life.

   We need to implement some sort of system for validating users and it will also help with other fake accounts both bots and spam while also helping to strengthen the enforcement of having banned someone.

   Implement that every (phone identifier • Connection identifier )= 3 account creation limit per 18months
   That way bots and banned people along with most importantly people who I block can't keep creating profiles to harrass me. As in sure the amount of devices they can obtain is limited or the cost to do so is either to costly or more trouble than its worth.

   To help validate users and to help weed out people who have BS or nefarious intentions you can have social Scores and I've also thought of how to prevent users from misusing the system and abusing the function by giving a negative mark for the reason of trying to harm another users experience by affecting a users negative score to achieve a corresponding punishment.

   How you can achieve this is through a system while also maintaining a level of privacy of a users actions is you the Affirmation score , and how you score a point in the affirmation score is by giving the option to send a pic request to an individual and if they accept it then you both send pics that have to be taken there on the spot no uploading and you have to upload at least 2 then you each gain and affirmation point. This is not mandatory just a method of validation and way for users add a point to their scores so other users can be able to possibly gain insight into whether or nothing a user is authentic. So there is no negative score just an optional choice pathway allowing users to take a channel that turns regular user functions into a optional set processess that validate a user through their choice of going through a validation process optionally that also achieved the same goal the user originally had but also obscures their actions having multiple ways to score points who's to say how many of each actions a users score represents?
   Also optionally accepting a user request to agree to a video chat. Etc , basically by giving users an option to take user validating set of steps versus the much more freely achieved version of the same process use the same function.

   You could display a profiles country of origin listed and country their connection is currently established in. Just a signaler of possibly not an authentic user because if they was displaying themselves to you in your area but country their connection is established in is different well that's probably a good sign of a nefarious user, because if you're traveling abroad then why aren't you in their grid and why are you looking at your home grid when traveling abroad.?

   Possibly scan a person when opening the app and their biological sex is chosen based off the scan and their pronouns are options available for the user to specify.

   All of these options would go to further limit bots, fraud accounts , and strengthen users trust and give them a better idea of who their talking to while maintaining all users privacy. Through the of these validity signalers. Together you can get an overall idea of whether or not they are fake based upon the total combination of these signals.

6. Fix message filters and restore search

   Cannot filter messages currently, I click the button and it just greys everything out but no menu opens to filter by unread etc. The search function used to be amazing for tracking down conversations and maintaining connections. The app has gone downhill since

8. Hispanic

   Add Race (Hispanic). Hispanics make up the majority of many cities in my state (California) and yet there’s not an Hispanic option under “Race.” I know many Hispanics have resorted to identifying as “Latino,” but the semantics kill me. I, like many others, are offended that my people have to accommodate our identity for lack of options (or ignorance) on part of Grindr and its developers.

   Android users can delete messages in bulk. Iphone users on the other hand cannot delete messages one at a time. Please fix this

12. Personal interesting, identity preference

    So I am a submissive bottom who enjoys pleasing Dom top master whichever predicament for example relationship fun FWB or one night stand..

    I, along with everyone else using this app, want each user to have a pleasant and safe experience online. A part of that experience heavily relies on the end user's ability to spend more time connecting with others who they may feel are a match and less time browsing faceless, incomplete, profiles. Corporate has determined that filtering on ethnicity is racist in nature but fails to address other area's that could lead to shaming/harassment (i.e., body type, age, etc.). If we are asked what our ethnicity is, but can't filter/search by it, what's the point? More time should be spent on filter out bots/scammers than if someone is looking for someone who is either the same or different ethnicity.

15. Glitches

    Please fix the number of glitches and y'all are getting so greedy for ads.

    Glitch- so now the app inserts fake profiles that are click bait and it glitches back to the flvwry first profile. And at the bottom of the allowed grid unpaid, you put fake profiles that you can't find no matter the number of filters.

    Ads- When you open the app bam, pop up ad, second pop up notification to pay to remove ads, third to show new section for views/likes. Swipe all of them away, open a profile and boom 20 second ad and another pop up on the top of the screen blocking the back button or menu button. Swipe that away, go back to grid, another pop up to remove ads.

    Are y'all desperate for money??

    Hi Grindr Team,

    I’d love to suggest a feature that would enhance the user experience for many of us. Currently, while we can filter who we see based on roles (Top, Bottom, Vers, etc.), there’s no option to control who sees us in return.

    For example, as a Bottom, I’d prefer not only to see only Tops but also to be seen only by Tops—rather than appearing in the grids of other Bottoms or Vers users, who aren’t my preference. Similarly, Tops who want to see only Bottoms could choose to be visible only to Bottoms.

    This would make matches more efficient and prevent unwanted interactions, ultimately leading to better connections. I know that the SURGE app has implemented this, and I found it extremely useful—but their user base isn’t as large as Grindr’s.

    I hope you consider adding this as an optional setting so users have more control over their visibility and interactions. I truly believe it would make a huge difference in how people connect on the app.

    I keep seeing people right next to me in my feed that are actually 60 miles away. I don't care about these people and I don't care how much they paid to be in my feed. I want my feed to be location ordered like it always has been.
