1. The "Downfall" of GrindR.

   I am not sure which is more unfortunate: that, the C-Suites of GrindR have been flushing this app down further in the shitter over the span of a decade now..
   ..Or, that, in 2024, there somehow remains an entire fleet of people (presumably over the age of 25) who come here to complain about GrindR's shittiness, as if they're relaying brand-spanking new information for the rest of us.

   I could only wish, that the next time any one of you thinks to register a complaint, on GrindR's UserVoice: right before you click on Post idea you get automatically re-directed here, to my post.

   That way, there's a better chance for you to learn how George Arison and his cronies have done jack shit for GrindR, besides conscientiously-going out of their way make it worse and worse as the years push forward.

   How, it may very well be possible: if George is allowed to remain in charge, then in 5 years' time, GrindR will (hopefully) be no more.

2. Add a button to return to the profile from a user’s album

   If you’re going to have a catalog of every album you’ve received, they should link back to the profile that sent them. It’s not ideal to receive messages only from album photo comments.

3. Reduce text on profile preview

   When you open the app, you see pics of guys around. But in French language, you see « Il y a 3 h » and « À une distance de 5 km ». It’s too long! Only « 3h » and « 5 km », all users know it is the last connection and distance 😊

5. Should not even be charging for this app

   I refresh it and nothing and rebooted my phone and still nothing. I don’t even think it’s even worth it, to charge for premium it’s all slow and not functioning and same people everyday, it’s honestly not worth it

6. Stop the Greed

   The aggressive attempts to squeeze more money out of this app, is killing it. And as soon as a less problematic, ad flooded, version hits the store, you'll be Twitter. Or the corporate cronism can stop, you can pull back some of this bs user interrupted ad crap, and guess what, more people will use the app again. But ignore me, the countless paying customers who are also affected, and let your paid ads be the last trinkle of revenue you get before it all dries up. Seriously, douch bag level management to send a perfectly good app to a marketing sales ad shit show!

7. Fix your damn app!

   This could be a good app if you found someone who knew how to make the concept work. If you’re not gonna do it, sell it to someone who cares to make it right! Takes forever to send a message! By the time it sends, the person is gone… I would subscribe gladly if the damn thing worked! But until then free is for me.

8. Same notifications OVER AND OVER

   In 2019 this app started getting really good for the first time ever. In the past 6-8 months it feels like no one is beta or even alpha testing anything. Take notifications. I’m getting notifications for the same messages over and over and over. I’ve been notified of the same single message, “hey,” 13 times in the last 10 minutes. For the last few weeks I’ve been getting notifications late or duplicated or duplicated etc. but not usually this quickly. It’s really getting to the point that it feels unusable. And when you write into support, they don’t read the problem and just reply with some canned answer that Doesn’t have anything to do with the problem. I’ve never run into an app other than this one that has been pled by so much downtime errors, bugs, etc as this one… by leaps and bounds. Sometimes I run into a tiny bug on other apps and it’s usually fixed by the time I can get around to reporting it. I don’t know what’s going on here but it shouldn’t take months to get chats working right or notifications push notifications to be accurate.

19. Since the change of messages it’s trash

    The messages are coming and going and the order of the messages doesn’t make sense at all. They disappear, sended photos are disappearing- it’s really trash now 😂 i just send my phone number now and change to WhatsApp, because Grindr is not usable anymore!! Worst decision.
