Start making people varify who they are so it stops all these fake accounts and harrasment...make people Verify true identity
Make people verify who they are with actual real photos of themselves...this app was fun but now it is just full of fake profiles and bullshit people....it's starting to make alot of people leave the app because of this

Introducing an ultra simple feature showing how long a user has been Grindr member helps a lot not falling into fake profiles since those are ver commonly very freshly created profiles!! It would be wonderful if you could insert this info „Member since xxxxx“ in everyone‘s profiles!

How Grindr allows users to continually return to your grid even after you have blocked them
I don't need to come up with an idea on how to alleviate this problem. The idea has already been thought of and the ability to keep this from happening already exists.you are putting myself and fellow users of this app in harms way. If you continue to allow this to happen you are opening up a potential lawsuit.i pay to use certain services that are available on this app and I am certainly not getting what I pay for.

STI notifications
You should be able to mark profiles that you've met with (even if either party has blocked), and then if you test positive for an STI Grindr can push out a notification to get tested to all of those user profiles - possibly via SMS/email in case the user is inactive

Date Created on Profile
A field on the profile which shows how old/new the profile was created. It will help filter out fake accounts where people recreate accounts to bypass your block.

Add ability to allow or force approximate distance versus exact distance
Some individuals need to maintain anonymity which is understandable but for safety reasons I would like to see a general or approximate distance in increments of maybe 10 miles. Example : "Over 20 miles away" especially when or after a message is sent and are chatting. Reasons are for safety. I was contacted by an individual who had their distance turned off. I could not see them in my nearby grid and as a free subcriber, was unable to locate them in the grid. When in a high population city, i might only be able to see profiles very close.…

Only what I fill on my profile I can see on others
Users who have a blank profile with no pic or any data, also only see blank profiles.
If I share my age and height, I see it also everywhere.
If I, for example don’t fill the sexual preferences like Position safer sex/bb or so, I can’t see this on any other profile.

Translate Profile Descriptions
Profiles of people travelling have to be duplicated in different languages - it would be better to have a translate feature for people to translate profiles into their native language.
This is especially useful in countries where screenshots cannot be taken for use in translation apps.

Hide location, distance
I live in a small area I'm on tinder & grindr
I've seen someone on grindr who was (trying to be discreet) they scratched with a pen over there face but I was able to tell who they was because tinder & grindr have the same location, distance. And a few other people. You can hide distance but if people beside that profile have it on then you know how far they are stillI think the distance, location shouldn't be visible on everyone's profile for safety and especially privacy reasons and if people chatting want to share distance, location…

Currently, after blocking a member, any albums they’ve shared with you remain accessible to you. This is likely not intended and is a bug that should be fixed.

PIN reset
Can we have a button, link, or 3rd party authentication app to verify identity to reset the PIN number inside the app. Currently, you can try to enter a PIN unlimited times before you just finally give up. I cannot remember my PIN and there is not a way I can reset it myself from what I’ve experienced so far. I emailed support and they did not get what I was talking about and replied back with a “Reset your password” generic email. It could just be me! Lol 8545546 is the ticket number..

Restrictions on what I write in my profile
The ‘no old’ restriction on my profile is very bizarre. In my profile I state “around my age or older”, which is now getting flagged as me writing ‘no old’. I’m 28 years old, it would be extremely inappropriate and predatory of me to go after someone who’s 18 or 19, which is why I try to filter out teens who message me on this app with that sentence.
