1. Blocked Chat Retention

   Recently was assaulted by someone met of Grindr. After the incident I was blocked by the assailant and I no longer had the chats as evidence. If someone blocks you it shouldn't delete the chat stream. Delete media and pics maybe, but leave the chats.

2. Block is no longer available

   The block option is no longer available and was replaced by the hide option. Blocking a user is an essential safety tool in Grindr that can protect us from violence and harassment. Disabling it put in risk the safety and privacy of Grindr users.

3. block "For you" chats

   I do not want Grindr to recommend chats, and I'm certainly not going to pay for the feature. In fact I would block most of the profiles that are listed (first two in list were crossdressers). If Grindr can keep all of its AI profiles in this area and off my grid then it's useful. Otherwise it's waste of space that I don't want to see.

7. Identifying scammers

   Hey guys. Not sure if you guys have been told about this or not. This was an idea the members came up with and it’s been passed along from member to member. There’s been such a huge onslaught of scammers on the site as you undoubtedly know. It’s almost impossible to maneuver around it. So what people have been asked to do if they’re suspicious is to ask the guy to do a selfie and instruct them to for example hold one finger up. That way you can see if the actual person matches the picture. The first time it was asked of me I was shocked, but then it was explained to me why and it made perfect sense. Maybe there’s a way you guys could incorporate that into the app. I’ve been on and off Grindr since the beginning and it’s almost intolerable with the scammers. I’m sure you probably already know, but they always start up the same by greeting you a short sentence of something and then they go directly to inquiring what you do for a living. 8. Ad a button to report company investigator.

   Companies like Uber Doordash and Walmart. Have their investigators over this type of apps to investigate the citicens prívate live to put them in some type black list to not gove them work or make them get unemployed for "errors" in their apps or other reasons than the ovious discrimination. Those are called Red Neck Agenda or simply a Neonazi Mafia. A button to advise the others to be carefull with certain profiles and make you investigate could help a Lot.

    I report that have a same person multiple new accounts from abroad harassing me . 7x reported with information and no reply as a paying customer think it is disgusting.

    A large percentage of the LGBTQIA+ community experiences homelessness at some point. It would be helpful to provide resources to individuals on an app they are already using that are experiencing homelessness.     Could it be possible to have a feature that anyone who does not have a profile pic not be able to message you. I don’t want someone who has a landscape pic or some random pic messaging me. It’s a waste of time. It’s dumb to hear someone say “sorry I’m DL I don’t send pics” NP no chat should be a feature you can turn on to block users who will not send a headshot or a pics of who they are.     How does this happen? A completely systemic plague of bot profiles spreading phishing attacks with malicious links, and some of them actually can engage in conversation to an extent that if someone wouldn’t really know what to look for or telltale signs of it, would certainly fall into a trap. Make signing up more secure and a wee bit harder than the current state of “just a email and password will do”
