1. Grindr Affinity

   Since the removal of the ability to filter by race I have struggled to make meaningful connections with communities of color. My physical location is predominantly white and I continue to experience high levels of racism overs and implicit, microaggression, or just simply being blocked because being black is not someone’s “type”. This has caused a great deal of psychological harm personally and fueled feelings of loneliness. I would love to see affinity spaces on Grindr where we can get together based on identity to build relationships, hook up, make friendships, or just simply talk. We live in a racist society and we can use technology to drive connections instead of removing the ability to filter and not seeing the challenge that presents to those of us most impacted by racism in this app when we live in predominantly white areas or small communities. It would be help to have the ability to use filter features to connect with those who you share intersecting identities with including race and have discourse as to the why this is important!

   Allow people to add “types” they’re interested in. (I.e. twinks, jocks, daddies, younger, older, etc.) might help with Not Interested or initial messages in the first place.

5. I cant find Trans girls

   As soon as I use the trans filter, only 3 profiles are avivable in the free version...
   2 of them are guys who didnt understand wich their tribe were, and the third one is a crossdresser who is mixed with trans girls for some reason I cant understand...
   Im only looking for trans girls, not gay males, no crossdresser...
   Trans girls cant find me since im simply a male.
   and I can only talk to 3 profiles unless I pay premium the whole time I use this app.

   Why do Gays get special treatment over trans girls? Them can talk to several profiles for free at lest. I cant talk withnoone i like and also the people I would like to meet cant reach me.

6. Grindr should be for men seeking men. & cellphone verification should be required with a text code

   Grindr should make a separate app for mf couples, trans, and all other individuals seeking something other than male for male interaction. Also, due to the high number of fake profiles I think creating a Grindr account should require text authentication, preferably with a system that can detect when 3rd party text apps are being used. This would protect peoples privacy and increase safety for everyone.

7. Prevent people from outside of your age filter from messaging you

   Not being sexually attracted to males or females does not make me a sexist.

   Not being sexually attracted to certain ages does not make me an ageist.

   Personally I prefer people around my age and I'm tired of people double my age messaging me. I understand age gaps don't matter to some folks, so please give everyone an OPTION for us that do care to prevent people from outside our age filters from messaging us. And yes, I did specify my age range preference on my profile.

    It would be easier if there was a match function.
    For example: if someone posts that they like slim and you have posted that you are slim... there is a match.

12. Why is my "type" now a extra feature.

    Why is it that I can't view my type like trans, without having to pay for extra? Like if I turn on my type every profile is under the extra. Why make it so I have to constantly be annoyed and harassed by profiles I have no interest in an are not my type. An no matter how many times I say not interested or even block accounts I get the same exact guys messaging me. Due to they either "lost messages" which I doubt, or after I've blocked them theyll delete their account just to make one a week later. Definitely should implement a 90 day ban on the emails if the accounts been deleted. I get the discretion and deleting the the app for a little, I'm okay with that. It's just the guys who I've blocked and delete delete their entire account then make a new one 24hrs later or a week or month even an can start messaging me thinking they're slick. It's just dumb I apologize for the rant but cmon Grindr. I'm about to find a cheaper more user friendly app if things don't start changing yet the $$ amount keeps going up an less capabilitys continue for the free version.

    Itd be awesome to add the option to only be viewed by a certain preference... for example, i personally am interested in white men over 40....well, it'd be great if I could decide, to only be visible also by white men over 40 in my area, instead of weeding out messages as they see and message me
