Random profiles on the grid
Why are random profiles placed next to you on the grid. You think they are very close but upon opening them they are very far away. Quite annoying. Show more profiles locally!!! The ads that pop up everywhere more than pay for the free accounts. Plus I do pay occasionally when I travel but may stop now because your recent changes are not for the better

People with no pics of themselves
So why am I paying for a grid of a bunch of blank profiles or pics of a tree or a parking lot or a f'king box of TicTacs? Make an option where users are required to have a face pic to see other face pic profiles. Bring back the ethnicity search filter. I'm not attracted to certain men, it doesn't make me racist. This app has become profiles with no pictures, profiles of women or feminine men, and guys calling themselves straight looking for women. Nobody is looking for monogamy. Nobody is single. List ethnicity preferences on users profile.
LISTEN!!! I get the sensitivity of today’s climate and society really I do. But as a black man, IN TEXAS, with literally no racial hangups, it would be a lot easier if this was implemented.
Hear me out. I have absolutely no preference when it comes to ethnicity. I find attractiveness in all races. Unfortunately for me and many like me that’s not always the case when it comes to us. It would be so much easier to click a profile and see whether or not you meet someone’s preferred ethnicity.

Tags for dating
It’s almost impossible to anticipate whether someone will be a good cultural match when it comes to dating. We can describe ourselves very well sexually and even add pictures to express that side, but there’s hardly any room to show anything beyond sexuality.
The available tags are extremely limited, with things like romantic, outdoorsy, or likes music, which are way too generic and say very little about someone’s actual personality.

More Precise Filters
Add more filters so it's more catered to the individual user and what that person is looking for.

I can search for people like, but maybe they don't like me. So filters should work both ways.

êtes vous conscient que plus les mise à jour se déploient plus vous tuez votre application ?
la sélection de l’âge , le fil d’affichage des profils réduits drastiquement, le prix de vos abonnements, l’option masquer au détriment de bloquer…
plus les mois passent plus vous la rendez inintéressante.
c’est bien triste la version que vous nous proposez, surtout pour les gens habitant dans des zones moins denses..

Allow filtering by hiv status to allow poz guys find other poz guys
It would make such a huge difference to poz guys if you could let us find other poz guys. This won’t get many upvotes because it doesn’t affect most users but for those of us who are poz it would be a huge improvement to our lives to be able to find other poz guys, so please please implement this 🙏. Perhaps the filter can only be visible to guys who have their hiv status as poz on their profile if you’re worried about prejudiced people abusing the filter. Bring Back Race Filter for Better Match Preferences
Hi there,
I really enjoy using the app and appreciate the platform you’ve created for people to connect. I wanted to suggest bringing back the race filter—not as a tool for exclusion, but as a way to better tailor searches to individual preferences.Personally, I’m particularly attracted to Black men and often find it difficult to connect with them in my area. Grindr needs to be just for men seeking men
Grindr will not succeed as an all in one app for hook ups. It needs to be men for men only. That is how and why I can accept to pay the ridiculously high cost for subscriptions for features that used to be free or at least free in a lower tier subscription, but that’s a whole other topic for another time. Bring Back the Gay-Only Space
I’d like to respectfully request that Grindr take steps to maintain its core purpose as a space primarily designed for gay men.
