Blocking feature overhaul: enhance, simplify, debug, and optimize code
if Grindr were a homogeneously gay community, this might not be an issue.
Many profile images, (and more each day) have brought me uncomfortably close to vomiting. none of these users are seeking gay men.
If the intent is to discourage people from touching themselves, it has been extremely effective.

I think you should be able to click a see less of this guy button because maybe you don’t think a block is necessary at all and you kinda like him he’s a good guy to talk to but you don’t want him taking up space on your viewing list. This should be a free feature.

I was recently notified of violating community guidelines. I agree with this. I read your guidelines. There is a double standard here that needs to be addressed. A significant number of posts are routinely sexist, ageist, racist and homophobic. My post was a response to a person who posted a very rude ageist profile. If you are going to enforce community standards then start doing so for all posts from the get go that are clearly overly rude, and/or sexist and/or ageist and/or homophobic. Gostaria de sugerir ao departamento de moderação,que bloqueasse os perfis que usam esse app pra ganhar seguidores no Instagram e twitter, muitos criam perfil e colocam que não responder pelo grinder e para chamar no Instagram ou twitter, acho isso errado , senão responde por aqui, não tem que ter perfil aqui.

Limiting social messaging
Limit social messengjng from those who don’t have a complete profile with pics, etc. In fact what about an OPT OUT Feature for those of us who pay or have filled out the profile with pics and a “what we want teaser as well as more about us in the stats section …. We should able to OPT OUT - notifying the guest with out the completed profile that WE are not accepting notifications from temp guests to the site.

Inform Users of what Guideline they Violated
Many of us have opened our app to surprisingly find out our account has been banned or suspended. Grindr should be displaying what guideline has been violated and/or how exactly it was violated, so we know how to go about rectifying the situation rather than leaving us confused.

NEED SWIPE MATCHES to avoid auto blocking & personal attacks
I’ve seen how easy someone can hookup in grindr for a seconds BUT it has many risks. First, safety from criminals and other people who BLOCKS anonymous users without consent. Second, privacy from co workers and people who dont like other users. Third, confidentiality for both sex partners. The users are vulnerable here and prone to attacks and instant blocking and such. PLEASE MAKE ACTION, CRIMINALS ARE WORKING HARD. Grindr is not a safe space anymore

Better user moderation and harsher punishments
I would like to suggest a greater punishment for profiles that break the rules of actually more effective. I suggest something like in case of repeat, block the IP from creating/accessing new account for a certain period of time, maybe increasing like 3 days, 1 week, 15 days and a month. Because there's no point in denouncing profiles of male prostitutes and people mentioning hard drugs if they have their account deleted there and then create a new one.
I think they could also add some moderated profiles so that reports made by these, if they have more credibility, are…
