Why can’t I report while on explore?
When I press the block and report button on a profile i didn’t unlock, the XTRA ad page pops up
I seriously think this should be reconsidered because I just saw a minor’s picture, a clearly -16 years old minor.
I will waste one of my free unlocks and report but i still believe this should be reconsidered.
Also allow posting such things throughout a different platform tjat doesn’t require creating an account..7 votes -
Expiring photo spam
Simply fix this problem! Require that a conversation must take place... At a minimum, two to three lines... Something like: "Hey!" "What's up?" "I'd like to send you this expiring photo spam" Before an expiring photo can be sent. Better yet, consent is sexy... Gain permission to send an expiring photo message first!

AGE DISCRIMINATION
This app continues to champion the cause of equality - unless you are a “Nasty old” person 🤮- this kind of commentary should be stopped. Would you allow someone to say the same comments about race, gender, ethnicity? No. If someone has a hard and fast rule about age they can post that without the need to insult others. I have personally been told I should kill myself because of my age. MULTIPLE TIMES. Hate speach should have no place here but there’s a blind eye turned.

Face Verified Photos w/ an option to still hide the face
Requiring people to set a profile picture with their face on it just to get verified can be too much for a lot of private guys.
To still provide them the privacy while allowing them to show that their profile pictures are theirs to some extent, Grindr could enable face verification by:
- Have users upload a photo with face
- Verify if the photo has their face through proper selfie verification
- Allow users to only display the cropped version of the verified photo for privacy
- Display a verification mark for each verified photos (regardless whether the user opted to crop the…

Location accuracy
So…we should be able to set a distance on how far we’re looking for hookups. I search in the “explore” section in an area 5 miles from my house and Grindr constantly insists that profiles 100-500 miles away is “nearby”. If I search for profiles in Austin, TX it doesn’t make sense to show me profiles from Dallas, TX. That’s NOT nearby. That’s a 3-4 hour difference. Location accuracy NEEDS to be updated.

Se revise antes de suspender una cuenta
En repetidas ocasiones me han suspendido la cuenta que por ser menor de edad lo cual me resulta un poco molesto ya que tengo que hacer una apelación de la suspensión y tengo que mandarle mi documento para confirmar que soy mayor de edad y no está mal solo digo que yo he pasado por el mismo proceso como 7 veces y es frustrante

Much of what is problematic on Grindr has to do with user attitudes and their distasteful behaviors. The app can only do so much
So much of the frustrations felt within the app come from unpleasant interactions. The ability to present yourself as someone else, collect pics and block, make demands and behave entitled to personal information from people you’ve never met and then block after a nasty comment and lastly the lack of respect for online etiquette and for the private lives of those you engage with causes many to have to take long breaks as to not be overwhelmed.
