Stop Ignoring the critical misuse in Chile (country)
I live in Chile. Several years ago the app stopped being safe for gays in Chile. First there were the profiles of trans scorts, then straight scorts were added, the sale of illicit drugs was unleashed. Today in the app when you open it you will be surprised that more than half of the profiles are not gay, but straight people. Today, March 23, 2024, we learned of a hate crime that was facilitated through Grindr. My account has been suspended twice for "hate speech" that never occurred after I reported scammers who then retaliated by reporting me after I confronted them. Ridiculous!!

Banned
Stop banning people and presuming they're guilty without even having context. How about a three strikes system instead of ruining everyone's night with an appeal. Grindr is owned by a videogame company. Surely it can understand that not everything is the way it looks.

Ability to retain chat history when someone blocks you. Users can misuse or abuse info in a chat that you no longer have access to. Very on

Verified profiles
I am someone who puts my own picture on the display but a lot of times I am asked by users to share more pictures or video call for verification doubting my integrity. If we can introduce a feature of verification and get blue ticks in, match profile picture with my live photo, that would really help people feel that what they see on display is true and no other verification needed.

Stop Allowing Multiple Profiles
There are at least 4 people I can think of that I’ve blocked. Then I get another message from them. So I block them again. Then another message and so on so forth. They create a new profile just because so many people block them. Maybe don’t allow someone to have multiple profiles. What’s the point in blocking? One person I have blocked 4 times.

If someone is banned, tell them why
Tell someone why they are banned. The whole process is in reverse. The expectation is for me to read the grindr Bible without knowing what I’m looking for. Offenses are subjective. The whole process is a mess. Drug dealers and pedos inundate the app….I’m just trying to have fun. While having paid the annual subscription. .

90% of the messages I receive follow the same script. How was/is your day. What do you do for work? Can we chat on whatsapp/telegraph cuz I'm not here often.It's gotten to the point if someone just asks "how was your day" I just block them right away at the first intro. You gotta do something about the scam artists....

I have been a premium account holder with subscription for the unlimited option.
I would like to inform you that you have put a ban on my account even though I have not done anything illegal or against the use policy and terms and conditions. I understand other profiles may have reported me over time however this was just as aggression and hate or attack conspiracy.

There would be a mandatory pic of person that could be verified and only people who are verified are allowed to chat or communicate also if you made it where when a person sends a pic both parties agree to share pics they automatically get the other. Filter in Zürich by more types like : hair, eyes, cock size ( L, XL, XXL), Twink, Twink, hung....
