Please be on the lookout in Florida in the Lakeland/Tampa Bay area there is a malicious criminal pretending to be gay men n grindr with hundreds of fake profiles. She is luring gay men and putting us into dangerous situations in order to isolate, control and erase our community. Grindr violates Consumer Rights (REPORT THEM)
The Consumer Protection Agency just assisted me in filing a report against Grindr. They CAN NOT keep your subscription money if they banned you and won't tell you why. They have to tell you or give you prorated money back. Apple is also on board with me. If this happens to you, REPORT THEM. They are stealing money. I would only do a monthly subscription. They stole 5 months of my subscription without a reason. Apple wants to be informed as well.

Bring back location spoofing
I used a GPS spoofer as did many other for safety and work reasons. I normally only set it a few blocks away! The newest update removed that ability and made me consider moving to another app.

Social media and personal info being doxxed
Every time I link my Instagram account to my profile, I receive Instagram requests from far right neo-nazi Christian nationalist strangers from out of state. It’s very disturbing and unsettling. It makes me question If my profile data is actually secure and individuals are somehow circumventing privacy safeguards - or if grindr is willfully providing my data and info to hate groups and anti-lgbtq+ organizations.
