"Enhanced Profile Verification and Screenshot Protection"
Please permanently disable fake profile options and implement mandatory face verification with a Blue Tick to confirm identity. Also, restrict screenshots of profile pictures to prevent misuse and protect user privacy.

As per T&C rules: should have to request for NSFW pics UNLESS profile says Yes to them
As everyone knows, ppl send dick or ass pics to open a conversation like HALF the time on grindr.
Did you know this is against "Consent" in the Grindr terms & conditions? In fact they regularly suspend accounts and reason that "consent isn't just sexy, it's mandatory".
If it's mandatory to ask for nudes first, and this tech is nearly 100% capable of detecting what's a nude and what isn't, then it's really stupid that it's even possible to break this "mandatory" term to begin with.

Picture verification
While most of the profiles dont use their face as a profile picture
However
Would appreciate a verification status of each face picture sent in the chat
This will help avoid many spammers/scammers/ in some countries the authorities

Quickly report & block spam
This is similar to another submission, but goes a bit further, so I thought I should add it.
It takes 7 clicks to report and block a spam profile. Some steps are slow.
Sometimes it is necessary to report a number of identical or very similar spam profiles to make the Grindr grid even usable again!
The normal Grindr Hiding doesn't seem to work for travelling, roaming or boosted profiles. It only works for profiles that are indeed actually nearby. Spam profiles are not actually nearby, just appear so, so therefore normal Hiding doesn't work. The only option that works…3 votes -
Remove social media links
Over half the grid is spam bots promoting social media. If you remove the links it will at least cut that back some.
You all are doing a crap job of Grindr!
Mostly spam, screws up my profile pics randomly, the costs have skyrocketed!
Why should I keep paying for a “service” where the product gets worse and worse and the price still keeps climbing?

Disable albums on Grindr Web - Screenshots
People often use albums to prevent their private photos and videos from being screenshotted/saved. You can get around this quickly by logging into Grindr on the web and using a computer's tools to save them.
Albums shouldn't be viewable on the web, or, the album owner should be able to opt-out of their albums being available on the web-version.

Grindr against our security
Experimenting the politics of grindr about list of blocked profiles. After I am blocking a certain amount of profiles , after few weeks reappear in my grid. There is a maximum of profile we can block? I am paying a service that is not contributing to my security. Does anyone else experimenting that?

Conceal activity from specific users
This is both a dating and hookup app. Sometimes I meet someone IRL and want keep seeing them, but it does not mean I immediately want to enter a monogomous relationship with them. I would like the option to hide my activity, online statis etc. from people I know without completely blocking them. Hide profiles extra
You aholes had better get rid of the hide option before you end up in court! Members can now favourite ⭐ a profile and then hide that profile and still monitor it using their favorites grid. Thanks for arming stalkers with the perfect tool! My stalker found me today because of you fukin twts. I know this because I have to have a blank fake just to protect myself on here! Album feature
One of the annoying things lately about Albums, is the person requesting your album doesn’t send theirs. To make it fair, if Grindr albums had a feature, once both albums are sent then you can see the other person album knowing it’s a mutual share . Reported users notifications
Sometimes im catching myself instead of interacting with grindr users i am just looking for catfish, bots, scams, users offering escort services, selling drugs etc.etc profiles. I got addicted to this especially now when grindr full of them. We report them, but we dont know the outcome. if grindr actually banned them or even investigated these profiles. Would be good if you guys could notify what actions was taken. Idea/Ideal
My idea, well.:. ideal would be to reinforce your security features with the app and stop allowing cheaters to use the app and get rid of tracks. Or maybe the one behind this app( creator) it is a cheating person and came up with this only to cover his tracks. Unethical reasoning for suspension of account
My grindr account got blocked without knowing the reasoning behind it. Being American background in the region of Rennes, Bretagne, France can be challenging owing to strong cultural differences. I feel personally attacked by recent messages forcing to sleep or have immediate sex which are not my style of meeting. Please explain the reason for suspension for 2 days.
