1. Allow “sides” to choose a second position

   Individuals who click “side” as their “position” may do so because they somewhat prefer side action- but the label(and filtering category) “Side” may sometimes convey disinterest in anal sex completely, which is certainly not always the case.

   I.E- there are many sides who are sometimes also very interested in anal sex. Unfortunately, other users may use the grid filters to exclude “sides” completely, thereby excluding many sides who are actually also very interested in anal sex.

2. Need a Grindr Marketplace. I think it's a best idea so that we could sell items, find roomates, ideas.

5. Sex Position: Top, Bottom (not vers)

   I am either a bottom for older men or top for younger men. It's is extremely rare that I am sexually attracted to a single person in which I want to do both. Therefore vers is not an appropriate selection for me. In other apps you can select multiple roles which accounts for this but not in Grindr.

7. Grindr Gay vs Grindr Other Genders

   Have a toggle so that people can select the genders they are attracted to. This is primarily a gay dating app. Frankly there should be an app that can house those that are looking for CD / Trans / MF Couples. Until then, add the toggle so I don’t have to waste my time blocking people to free up space bc your Xtra memberships are too expensive to just scroll & ignore.

9. Augmented filters

   Make the profile filtering more focused and accurate. I just want to see only profiles by my filters, and I wanna be seen only by the ones which I’m filtering and cross-versa. I do t care if I’m gonna see first profile 100km from me. I just want to see suitable table of profiles which I can be compatible of.

11. Rate option

    I have seen a couple posts about rating profiles, but my suggestion might be a little less tacky. Instead of a way to rate the sex, maybe have a rating section where a person can rate the overall interaction, whether based on just whether you like the profile pictures, on the conversation, hanging out, or if a person wants to rate based on the sex, they can but not exclusively. It could even be incorporated into the block or report options. If 5 people in my area have already discovered a profile is a scammer or fake, it should show on that profile’s rating. For the legitimate users, it could help with self esteem knowing while someone may not want to get with you or are able to, they may still think you are hot. It would also give local guys an idea of who is worth meeting up with if they see someone with a higher rating. And for those who want to be tacky, you could even add what your rating, p for profile, c for conversation, s for sex. Lol
    On a side note, as I’m sure other guys do, I tend to attempt different approaches from time to time, whether on my profile, or in conversations. Having an anonymous way to get a rating of how my approach went would definitely help me be more self-aware.

12. More body type options

    There seem to be no options for leaner guys who aren’t muscular or toned. In essence, “muscular” and “toned” could mean the same things. It is also amazing how different guys have a different definition of each of the body type options. It would help to have small icons next to each of the body types so guys know the definition. It would also help is there were options like athletic, lanky, semi-athletic. The options available now feel like they are shaming if you don’t spend excessive time in the gym.
