Response Likelihood Indicator
Many men on the app don’t seem to know that no response is a kind of response. In that light, if you could use all the data we know you have on people's profile to indicate the likelihood of a response to your profile. You could create a scoring metric for a user by using the fields that are/aren’t filled out, the options and words used in a bio for people they interact with the most. Scruff has something similar. I think Grindr dudes would appreciate a wingman of sorts to taper expectations.

48 Hour New Chat Response
When you message someone and they seem to be ignoring you which we all hate (for us sensitive lgbtqia members)… If the other person does not respond the new chat, it should automatically be deleted after 48 hours. So that way you would at least know they’re in some way interested so you know you aren’t wasting your time.

Booty Call Service
Obviously the Grindr app is largely functioning as a hook up app. I'm gonna name this feature as "booty call". Whenever the user is actually looking, they agree that they have a picture of the face, body, sexy nudes and other info ready. They just simply turn on the switch, and all of the boys who are looking as well will show up on their "radar". Sides getting a filter and promotion
Sides being a new term for most of the men around me, it gets difficult to explain everyone what it means..we spend approx.10 minutes of explanation followed by heavy judgement in most of the chats each day. If Grindr application can one promote and educate the users on what it means in their preferred language, it would do wonders. We can add info hyperlink beside anyone who uses that position in their profile. Bad Apples
There is this movement in the culture that "no response is a response." I would like to see Grindr give users an option other than reporting a profile or blocking the individual. Taking this toxic behavior seriously could create a more positive experience for everyone involved. If a user says hello to another user, and there is no response after the greeting is read, the user that started the connection should be able to document that the profile user is unresponsive, or doesn't respond at all. The filter wont let me use the word "buy" in my profile, but one of my major goals is to buy a home, and i think its important to state that
since it's an important relationship goal as well (as it is for many people.) I just cant find a natural way to communicate the idea without using the word "buy" as in "buy a house" or "buy a home". "Get a house" just doesnt sound quite right. I think the prohibition on using the word "buy" should be lifted.
