Bad Apples
There is this movement in the culture that "no response is a response." I would like to see Grindr give users an option other than reporting a profile or blocking the individual. Taking this toxic behavior seriously could create a more positive experience for everyone involved. If a user says hello to another user, and there is no response after the greeting is read, the user that started the connection should be able to document that the profile user is unresponsive, or doesn't respond at all. Maybe after 10 or 15 users report a profile for being unresponsive, the profile user gets a warning, or tools to help them engage others on the app. This is a real need.
