Make app language independent from system language
I have my phone in German and set the app's language to English in the App settings in the phone's settings (because there's no language setting in the app), now my app is in an ungodly chimaera of both German and English.

Ads after every conversation is way too obnoxious.
Ads after exiting back from each conversation is obnoxious as heck. Users are not going to stay long if the ad system stays like this.

Retaining messages after blocking events
Please make it possible to retain message threads when a guy blocks. I think it would act as a useful record in the event of sexual assault. It would also provide Grindr with transcripts of guys who get creepy or abusive. The current function is used by too many guys as a form of game, which isn’t good for mental or emotional health. It could still prevent the blocked person from messaging, but at least conversations are preserved, as in say WhatsApp or Facebook. I think this would make a difference for many.

Private notification option. So it doesnt show what the message says when you have the discreet icon on.

Get rid of xtra
It's way too expensive, especially if you're doing just one time thing with people, and it keeps you from clicking on people when you put in your preferences and it's really annoying

Location and privacy
Last update with the prohibition of mocking locations doesn't seem to be very helpful, here is my proposition.The app should use exact locations but shouldn't be seen in a precise way in the profiles, this can be made quite easy just hiding this info setting a user in a broad area you can see a example of this in the location of the sellers in other app called wallapop. if someone wants to share his precise location it can be perfectly be done in the private message Window. Favorite with notes search disappeared
RESTORE FAVORITE NOTE SEARCHES - which mysteriously disappeared late day March 3, 2023.
FIX FAVORITES WITH NOTES FILTER - don’t know if this is a new filter or existing, but IT DOES NOT WORK!
Why removes fav note searches? If one has dozens of favorites and some of the notes are location based, what good are notes if you cannot identify the 20 that are in DC or Atlanta or Naples?
And to have a filter that is at least supposed to weed out favorite profiles with notes from the rest, but doesn’t work at all is just adding insult…

Please let us block people on our viewed list
If someone sketchy keeps viewing my profile I should be able to block them. Hell, I should be able to block them even if they’re not sketchy. Let people control their grids.

Sound when sending message
When sending a message, there's a sound that you can't turn off. If I'm trying to use the app discretely, I don't want my phone to make a sound when I send someone a message. There needs to be a simple way to simply turn off this sent message sound. I can control the sound the app makes when receiving a message, but not the sent message sound. That should change.

The past 4 months images on the profiles on the Grid do not load. I can only see them when I’m at home using my personal WiFi.
First explain why this occurs. Then give options on how to resolve this issue.

Profiles and messages wont open
Since befor the last update and even worse since the update i have been having problems with the app of profile's not loading and just being a blank screen
