1. Make app language independent from system language

   I have my phone in German and set the app's language to English in the App settings in the phone's settings (because there's no language setting in the app), now my app is in an ungodly chimaera of both German and English.

2. Favorite with notes search disappeared

   RESTORE FAVORITE NOTE SEARCHES - which mysteriously disappeared late day March 3, 2023.

   FIX FAVORITES WITH NOTES FILTER - don’t know if this is a new filter or existing, but IT DOES NOT WORK!

   Why removes fav note searches? If one has dozens of favorites and some of the notes are location based, what good are notes if you cannot identify the 20 that are in DC or Atlanta or Naples?

   And to have a filter that is at least supposed to weed out favorite profiles with notes from the rest, but doesn’t work at all is just adding insult to injury.

   C’mon. Don’t you test this stuff before you implement it into production? Or since it so abruptly went away, maybe something in code is broken. Here’s a second notice it isn’t working. Please address it!

3. The past 4 months images on the profiles on the Grid do not load. I can only see them when I’m at home using my personal WiFi.

6. Unusable app!!!!!

   This app is absolutely horrendous. I can't believe I'm paying $40 a month for the unlimited version because that's the only one I prefer to use. Messages take forever to send sometimes, the red receipts don't work properly it will show that a message has been read and then turn back to delivered. Countless other bugs. I can't name them all. It is absolutely infuriating. This is the worst I have ever seen the app. It just keeps getting worse and worse. For $40 a month you should have an app with absolutely no bugs and proactively work to repair any bugs if any arise. I swear I'm going to take a trip to their headquarters in West Hollywood and give them a piece of my mind!

8. Where is Chat Backup feature and other problems

   So this app has been out for a decade+. And it’s the only app out there that has literally gotten so much bugs, glitches and just overall plan out shitty. As of right now 2-23-24 there r glitch’s and crap all over this app. From the blocking/freezing problem, the refresh problem, the laggy chat load page that jumps all over the place and is down right SLOW, the chat message icon lights up when I send a message to someone as if I have a message/replay in my in box, the fake accounts and robots that promote other sites, takes so long to show up your off line, the read notification is done ( and people actually pay for that), the chat backup option just disappeared and the list goes on and on. It’s as if whomever is running this app is a complete moron or your company just wants to go out of business. I am very disappointed in this app at this moment and wish I never spent a single dime on it. Sniffies is where it’s at. Grinder is dead ☠️🤷🏼💯😂

    I accidentally blocked a user and lost all my messages with him. I then unblocked him but the messages didn't come back. To make matters worse you have shrunk the free profiles and moved have now moved him to the extra area where I can't make contact with him. We were in the middle of getting together and sending a date and I can't reach him to explain I accidentally blocked him clearing old users. It not fair to shrink the free profiles to nothing but bottoms. And it's twice as bad you have raised the rate from 9.99 to 12.99 a week. I would have spent 10.00 but not 13+ tax to reach him. You're screwing everyone now. I'll have to find another app if I can because to load the free section with 20 something yr old btms isn't worth the time anymore

12. Messaging update extremely buggy

    I don’t know how this latest iOS update passed quality control. Clearly the chat UI was heavily overhauled, but no one noticed its usability plummet? Photos and chats now show up as blank for a second before loading, but there’s no loading animation to show that. Photos are also completely out of order now, and show random white bars when sent. Not to mention the random additional server refresh animations that make the app feel much slower. But the most annoying thing is, after sending a message to someone, your chat with them is then marked as unread until you refresh. Please rollback the old UI until these bugs are worked out!

    Can we please get the app from a month ago back? Albums crash, messages don’t show up, some won’t send unless I get off WiFi. Did we get rid of send? Offline guys not in cognito are delivered. Like why??

    Some guys actually have and use fake gps sometimes I see guys 13 -20 feet away meaning in my house and they are not it guys 2 miles away and at my place in one minute … that and the fact that some guys have more than one profile is extremely exhausting the waste of time sometimes I think Grindr pays people to create and use fake profiles … one time I saw my friends daughter pictures as a profile .. an 18 years girl .. saying that they even use Grindr to access to your phone and Facebook account what’s up text messages and calls oh and almost forget the ability of making Grindr to ban your account is amazing and incredibly how Grindr “doesn’t “ knows about these issues

17. The app bugs a lot

    On top of my head: location not updating, chats not loading, delay in answers, notifications sent multiple times for a same message or tap, online/offline status not correct, photos appear as black background, etc etc. v24.6.1 iPhone 14 Pro.

20. Messages doesn't load

    You should consider going back on the updates because the new changes are just not working at all. The grid doesn't update regularly and the Messages are not just working. The app makes them dissaoesr. The read but unanswered messages stay as unread and the chat ins not showing the full conversations. The messages list refreshes or flashes in a useless way.
