let me turn off push notifications that are not from human interaction
i want notifications telling me when someone has messaged/tapped me, NOT notifications where the app just says "hey open this app now" for no fucking reason. you already show me a billion ads while im using the app. you don't have to piss me off when im NOT using the app too

PvP Felt Off
Faced a player in PvP who shredded me in seconds. Been grinding for months—never seen damage like that. Not trying to cheat, just curious. Got any article that explains how people do this in Lost Ark?

Fix the BOTTOM Menu in iOS 18.1 beta 2
The BOTTOM menu has disappeared from the app. This really reduces the VERSitility of the app. This needs to be a TOP priority to get it fixed. You should put a-SIDE other priorities and get this fixed. ;-)

Fix your notifications
For these high prices fix your app. For 1 tap I receive 3-6 messages notifications about that 1 tap. If someone sends me a message I also receive that same notification 2-6 times. Once for 3 different taps and 4 messages and 6 photos sent to me I received 36 messaged notifications. I do not pay to use this app so that I can get false notifications and deal with the annoyance. I have just let it go thinking this would be fixed in time but it seems to be getting worse. Now I am chatting and read messages and…

Profile photos not loading at all
In my phone, for some reason, profile photos on the grid and in chats are not visible....only album photos and sent or receives photos are visible. Even I can't see my own profile photo 😬

Make people say what they’re looking for
I’m happy that Grindr is an app that the entire queer community can use. But at the same time it clutters the app because I am not able to filter out the people who are looking for trans. Or the people who are MtF. I am not trans and I am not looking for someone who identifies as a female. This is not a transphobia issue. By forcing everyone to say that they are looking for and what group best describes them would make Grindr a much easier app to find people. Plus this information doesn’t need to be posted…

Coding for distance is jacked up in Hawaii
I live in area code 96720, which is on the Big Island of Hawaii.
The app should display profiles located closest to me first, followed by those farther and farther away. Instead, it'll show the first couple of profiles closest to my location, then it'll populate a profile that's 200+ miles away, in Oahu, followed by the next closest profiles in my location, then it'll throw in another one or two profiles 200 miles away.
e.g.
Profile 1 - 1 mile away
Profile 2 - 1.2 miles away
Profile 3 - 206 miles away

Why cant I delete ALL historical messages before a chosen date to clear out my clogged up in box ?

Fix the message bug... PLEASE ITS BEEN MONTHS!
If I write someone or respond to someone the first time it goes through. But then when they write me back their picture is replaced by mine and when I hit send it goes nowhere! Then I have to go back to the mailbox bring up the chat again, and retype it making sure their picture is on the screen not mine. Sometimes I miss it and find they never got messages I had typed and have to back track. It looks like Im not paying attention and its really annoying. Have written support several times fir months and there…

Guys only see 1 of my 5 profile pics
I have 5 profile pics/ often the first one is my body only. Over 50 guys have asked to see a face pic and I’m like there 3 in my profile. Are guys lazy or not aware of this feature of or non paying? I know my pics are there- can we let the free guys see at least 2 pics or something?

Fix app
Just fix the location. I'm.over the "unable to identify your location" every time I log in and have to log out do a force stop and then log back in. Just fix it. Lord knows we're paying enough

Separate tab for escorts so they stop ruining the app experience for all paid users. It is really extremely annoying!!!
Escort profiles are one of the most annoying and experience-destroying aspect of the app. It ruins the user friendliness entirely: they either do not reply or try to turn you into a customer often not even saying they are escort until you add them on WhatsApp. Grindr should find a way to separate escorts from normal profiles for example by adding a new tab because the current way of doing it really isn’t working. The app is full of escorts and they don’t care that paying clients are not here for that. They just ruin the app and grindr needs…

Go back to showing ONLYreal taps not looks
I’m only interested in real taps. Showing me who looked isn’t of interest and you just use it to sell yet a more expensive version of the app if I stupidly click on one. We pay a premium price as it is-soliciting us for more is annoying.

Sound in app
It would be useful switching off the sound that is played every single time you send or receive a message, or when you click "tap".
