3. provide feedback on accounts reported; end the harassment

   I've reported several profiles - the same person is harassing me. I never hear back what action has been taken. I know it's the same person because they are always the same distance away, are someone I've never seen before and they have really hot pics. When I reverse image search their pics they are always stolen from another account. YOU NEED TO VERIFY ACCOUNTS or at minimum show how long the person has had an account. I'm getting tired of using this site and be stalked/harassed/ by homophobic sociopaths. Why does Grinder make it to easy to be harassed?

4. You should have a 1-click capability that automatically relocks your Shared Album. User scrolling deadens user experience

   Currently, in the list showing whom you’ve Shared your Shared Album a list appears alongside individual radial buttons you can click as your scroll to “check” those buttons you want to Unshare. There SHOULD be a One Click Option that Unshares All.

   Having to scroll and unshare per use is fine but the lack of a One Click. Feature makes the user experience tedious. It also quickly becomes a reminder of how much time you’ve wasted this easier to feel more compelled to delete app and wondering what you could have done instead with the time spent for that purpose.

5. Screenshots

   The app has a discreet option and yet allows anyone to screenshot your profile pictures of pictures you send them. Its really unfair so at least make a feature that gives the ability to lets your pictures to be screenshoted or not or completely disable screenshots because i really don’t see the reason.

9. Implement photo protection on profile pictures

   To prevent and reduce the impact of fake/catfishing/ impersonation profile, why not put the same level of protection that is in the album to each individual’s profile pictures?
   Nobody likes to open the app only to find another profile that is using their own photos and pretending to be them.
   This would be a great start to combat spammers/ scammers.
   Another one would be to make it mandatory for a user to fill out the profile with a photo and basic details, otherwise they won’t be able to communicate with anyone.
   What you all think? Is it reasonable to have this?

10. Protect users and make safe

    I've been stalked by my ex for over a year now, he constantly makes fake profiles and chats to me then either declares he is fake and owns up mocking me or I figure him out and he is nasty threatening to send the photos I have sent to his fake persona to my work. Everytime I report these fake harassing profiles Grindr refuses to do anything about it? They really need to start and protect people as a duty of care as I'm constantly hounded but they won't help me??

14. Yall need to fuxking actually do something about scams cause 90% your profiles are scams

    y’all leave open door for the most scams ever and it’s going to lead in class action. In fact, right after I’m done writing this I will be writing my lawyer who’s on my payroll and I will TELL EVERY AND Anybody to jump on if they’ve EVER been robbed on Grindr So I think you guys think that by giving other people money to come over and she is like for prostitution or something when that’s not the case it’s to make a human connection and they asked for gas to get to you . Fault but at what point are we supposed to hold accountable because we know it could be your Employees exploiting, and taking advantage of the system that they know how to do and get around it’s unacceptable. It’s wrong and it’s un-American and you will not hear the last of this.

    I feel that to further improve privacy, a feature should be provided in which if the user shares his private album with someone, he can decide for how long before the other person can see the album.

18. Having to weed out the scammers/impersonators. Have Verified Identity tags on profiles and video chat capability.

    As a PAYING member of this type of social app, it's my strongly held belief that it is that corporation's DUTY to ensure that the person I'm having a typed convo with, is VERIFIABLY the same person portrayed in the profile. You can do that proactively by providing an avenue for verifying identity like many other sites do, using 3rd party ID verification providers. Secondly, this and other sites aggressively warn users not to leave the app or site to talk because "that's a warning sign of scammers." Ok, then give me the tools to proactively verify identity without having to leave the app. You can do that by providing a video chat mechanism. It can be a time-limited micro-chat that both parties can turn on AS THEY ARE ACTIVELY CHATTING, so they can visually match the profile pic with the person typing on the other side of the convo.
    I'm on a serious search for a relationship, and am currently a paying member of 7 different sites and because of the sickening amount of fake profiles ive seen, I pay for 3rd party ID verification services that are time consuming and costly. How AWESOME would it be if I was able to do that without having to leave the app.

20. Better reporting Setup

    There needs to be more options for reporting suspicious activity and ideally more characters. I prefer to use whole words and punctuation to be as clear as I can and not send a message that looks like spilled alphabet soup — lifbej leibfe geuebt htge

    I am writting this suggestion because I messaged a profile. I never received a message back from that profile and after a few days of seeing it in my near by and knowing they were not interested I blocked it. I then received a messaging saying hello from a profile with the same picture and user name 2 days later. I responded with a messaging saying hi. The profile viewed my profile twice and yet did not respond or show up in the near by list. The profile then sent me a message saying hi. Within a half hour of receiving that message which seems unnecessary considering their first message was hello, I went to their profile and it says they were last on a day ago. Even if they have the setting set to do not show in the nearby, the profile should still display the last login time shouldn’t it?

    With the character limit I couldn’t explain all that in the report of impersonation. I would love to report the profile as a robot because the first message said hello and the second said hi that feels like something a program would do because my response to the first hello was hi. A person could receive a hi message and respond with something that has more depth considering they already said hi, a computer program might not. I didn’t put more to my message because the message seems to be coming from a profile I messaged and was ignored and then I blocked. Which means they would have deleted their account recreated it looking the same and then messaged me. Or it’s a robot or computer program that deletes or creates multiple accounts with the same profile picture and name and info. Or there is some sort of hole in the system. However there is no way for me to make these types of reports or even include it in the report if suspected impersonation because of the 250 character limit.
