Add a deactivate button
Sometimes I delete my account and then regret it and redownload and lose all my chats. Very unfortunate. There should be a deactivation button for people like me.

Trans women/ women/ MF couples
There needs to be a filter option to block or hide trans women/ women or MF couples.. I’m not transphobic at all. This app has always been a primarily gay men’s app and now seeing 25% women every time I open my app even if I spend most my time blocking the trans members… I personally DO NOT want to see women on my app when I’m paying 40$ a month to use the app.. Add option to opt in for anonymous notification of positive stds results
Enable anonymous notifications of positive stds results.
It could work like this, for example. Introduce an option to request to be notified if a given person reports a positive std result. This could be reinforced by asking the other person to agree (otherwise it could be technically possible for a person to continously monitor the std status of another person without them knowing, by regularly requesting notifications from only one person) . I fully understand your desire to prevent any way of cheating like facke gps, but that affects the functionality of the apps. I want to inform you that while I continue to receive an errors messages I won't subscribe for paid version.

Theme
The Grindr app is so iconic that even my straight friends clock the chat colour's. For those of us who aren't out this is inconvenient. An option to have the chat colour's be more generic or similar to WhatsApp would be ideal.

Improve the hide feature
The idea of the "Hide" feature is interesting, in my opinion it prevents the possibility of blocking people without reason. However, it should be improved, in fact to get the "block" back it is sufficient to put the user in the favorites, or write a simple "hi". To make the hide truly effective there should be an interaction between people (e.g., at least 5 messages exchanged), so I would at least wait for the other person to respond, otherwise it is easy to get around the idea of the hide.

There needs to be a search bar to find users that are online, and once they are off-line without having to scroll through everybody

Previous chats are disappearing
Whenever chats are longs, suddenly previous chats are disappeared from the conversation and this is happening with so many profiles in my inbox.

constant pop-ups about Right Now feature
why do subscribers get constant pop-up, spam and reminders about the Right Now feature? Are Grindr trying to get people to give up their subscription? I have to close the app and reopen to get around ‘Try it now!’ pop up windows.
