Spam accounts promoting various websites have recently overwhelmed the number of legitimate accounts and are easily identified by having a first name followed by the initial of a surname (example: “Ivan H”).
This could easily be resolved during the account creation process, as well as what is being done to approve profile pictures.
This limits the number of actual people someone could communicate with, as there is a limit on the number of profiles users are exposed to.
