    In addition it doesn’t take into account your preferences or people you would genuinely like. For example, I don’t do hook ups and I don’t do couples, yet my for you section is constantly full of couples and people just wanting to hookups.
    So if you actually want it to be effective it needs to actually be targeted to the person.

    I’m all for respecting others, however I’m a gay man attracted to men. So that’s what I expect to see on an app for gay men. I’m not into women or men that dress like women or transgender women. The female form isn’t my thing.
    Create a “Grindr Fem” app for that.
    Trans men I’m not into either, but at least they’re men at this point.

    Location gets messed up a lot in London. It’s either saying it’s not enabled or it’s showing people that are miles away as a few meters away. And when sharing location it shows you as some random location at times.

    Agreed. So many times I get messages from people who don’t read the profile. And send message after message and just don’t get the hint. No reply is a reply!
    And then the ones you do tell you’re not interested who constantly message you days later in case you changed your mind or something. A “not a match” or “you don’t float my boat” or “not my cup of tea” button would go down well!
    Ideas for the icon:
    A cuppa with a no entry symbol over it
