Someone pointed out how Grindr may be the only app without an ethnicity filter. And this is also the only gay app I'm aware of that's owned by a straight man so maybe straight men enjoy restricting Gay Asians from meeting other Gay Asians, Native Americans from meeting their fellow tribespeople, and my little white bottom from meeting BBC, and so on. It's ironic how the straight man doesn't likewise restrict straight women from using the app to meet non-Lesbians while spamming the Gay users. D:

I think the straight man currently running Grindr needs to step down and let a Gay guy fix this. Everyone knows a straight guy owns this app. I don't know about his competence on this matter when it seems the user voice has spoken. 🌈😎👉

Also let's get straight women off the app! When I say straight women I mean straight women regardless of any other attached identity they may claim to have. There are homophobic straight women trolling Gay men on Grindr, according to the OP's attached screenshot, and that homophobic trolling by straight women needs to stop. I have little respect for the hetero owning this app as long as he tolerates and enables bigotry like that in a space designed for us. What's next in the "all-inclusive" agenda for gay bathhouse style play, homophobic straight men?

In one of the screenshots by the OP, I see the "trans" person who's violating our safe hookup space also seems to prefer using homophobic slurs against us. I would hope that moderation at least cracked down on that disruptive "trans" user, but I somehow don't have my hopes up for that. This ideological concept of bringing equality to a "bathhouse connection" app which is mainly what this app is used for is as ignorant as when the homophobes try to "unite" us with their hetero perspective of sexuality. We like what we like. It's a biological process. We did not and do not choose to be Gay. We embrace Male on male sex and that's what this app is mostly used for. The straight man that currently owns the app needs to show the world he is not homophobic by exhibiting zero tolerance and removing profiles that use homophobic slurs on this app, regardless of who they claim to be. I was stabbed once by a homophobic straight guy using this app to target our community and he kept making new profiles. Now it appears they can be openly homophobic while dressed up as women, whether real or not? Let's make Grindr Gay Again! Or let's stop giving the straight man our Gay business.

That would be nice if Grindr was made Gay again, though a married monogamous unparticipatory straight man does currently own Grindr, presumably for the capital... He's a billionaire CEO of some software or video game company and bought Grindr up from the gay guy that sold us and his app out. It's not classified information about a straight guy owning the app. Google it.
As for making Grindr Gay again, I would think only money could actually communicate any Gay issue to a billionaire heterosexual CEO. I'm sure using the app is financially good for him. Hornet is Gay owned on the other hand, and I've been using Grindr less lately since all the changes have been taking place.

I can't help but mention since someone recently got down on the ethnicity filter and they are apparently using this hookup/casual sex app to find people based on "common interest" rather than sexual attraction which is sometimes based on ethnicity - Statistics have shown that those of us using Grindr for casual sex are happier users than those using the app to try to find marriage. If you don't understand why I a white guy would want BBC on random nights (easier to find with the ethnicity filter on) without calling me a racist based on my sexuality: Clearly you are a "hopeless romantic" perhaps with more dick and ass in and out of your bedroom for those who can't be "single" more than a week yet are always breaking up with their boyfriend once a month... LOL Sometimes, I envy the kind of sex you "hopeless romantics" are having, minus the emotional drama,
mostly because your partners from who-knows-where stay around a good month, whereas mine from this app are mostly one night stands and come in anywhere from daily to weekly to monthly intervals. LOL Nevertheless, the hopeless romantics, whom supposedly don't regard looks but personality, should be on OKcupid, not Meat Grindr. Just saying ;)
