Loging out
Being able to log out without having to go into settings and all the way down to log out and then confirm log out there should be a hot button in the menu right underneath your profile where it says log out this is an app used by a lot of discreet married men there should be no problem logging out and it doesn't keep you logged in for an hour after you logged out

Pause Account or "take a break"
Sometimes I'm on holiday and not really looking to chat w/ people nearby. I still want to be able to browse but without getting inundated with messages from locals 😅

Never make face pics required
It seems a lot of people either never experienced or forgot what it’s like to be in a relatively small community and/or have bigots for family. I know a guy personally who will out people he knows who are down-low due to careers, family members, whatever because he thinks it’s funny. I’ve seen it done to people on fetlife too. Visible to
I believe we should be able to decide whom we want our profile to be visible to. Like a revers filter. Our profile will be visible only to the type of people we filter out. One more request is to make the relationship status a free filter. I am from India and I want to find dates not sex. But currently grinder is not a dating app, it's a sex seeking app in India. Limits on who can see my profile
I’m a high school teacher and do not want any recently graduated students (or god forbid, current students) seeing that I’m on Grindr. I would appreciate being able to hide my profile from a set age bracket.

Protection against narcissism
How about a filter that hides any profile that's not complying to certain criteria.
Like, I don't want to be found by profiles that are newly created, or that don't have any pics or info. Because they often do this for a single date and then disappear.
These 2 cases make my experience very difficult: it raises trust issues. There are some narcissistic people out there, which don't play fair. They should be terminated.
Maybe also an ID-verification would do....

Diary
Would be great to add a user to a private diary section. Ie I met x person on 24 February, if you then needed to contact them for any reason you could look back through your diary.

Self-authentication of profile pictures!
Create a feature where an icon appears on people profiles who have self-authenticated themselves. Far too many people catfishing or using other peoples photos.
If the idea of the icon displayed on profiles doesn’t work well, at least have to prove it to grindr themselves before the photos are public. It’s outrageous that other peoples photos from other platforms are being used!

Nsfw Folder
Sometimes users request nudes, I would like to be able to have a second folder that requires a prompt to access so I don't have to wait to use the app till I'm in private. Right now sharing photos even if it's just something regular means having any downloaded nudes out for people to see from over shoulder.
It's the same for people's profiles, they should get nsfw rates and filtered out if they're being borderline.
Setting never to received lewd pics should auto ban/suspend those who report and gets proven

Blackout and Permission
Sent photo should be blacked out when the other party tries to take a screenshot. Also, it would be good if we can just forward a photo to another user but of course with the permission control of the owner
