Para abrir una cuenta verificar la persona real con su identificación oficial por ambos lados y además una foto en tiempo real de la persona que está en ese ID. Es fácil abrirl una cuenta, robar imágenes de alguien más y hacerse pasar por esa gente. Asi como son una app de encuentros deberían ser más responsables es en verificar una cuenta y de quién es esa cuenta realmente. A 3-6 month waiting period should be implemented on those who delete their accounts to then recreate another account and harass people.
The app should regulate and automatically place a waiting period on those accounts that are deleted. Typically the person deleting the account will create yet another one immediately. This is done if they are blocked by people, they then harass those who blocked them again and again and again. Creating fictitious accounts as a form of harassment.

"Enhanced Profile Verification and Screenshot Protection"
Please permanently disable fake profile options and implement mandatory face verification with a Blue Tick to confirm identity. Also, restrict screenshots of profile pictures to prevent misuse and protect user privacy.

there are a lot of fake/spam accounts anthe profiles that are "near by" they dont event exist or they are not around the location

I can’t believe if you charge $3999 a month for this garbage app full of scammers, fake profiles what are you doing to protect your user nothing at all. As long as the payment goes through at the end of the month that all you really care about???

Grindr Isn’t Listening
Reading through the complaints and there are many. Some seem like quick fixes - especially in the age of AI when apps can be created much more easily. Grindr pricing is outrageous. What are we still doing here wasting our time, money and resources. Let’s pick another app and cross over to them - there are many options available- all wanting more business. Let’s take our profiles and go!

Bring back the old online-status! The new online-status marks users offline after just one minute
The new update (Version 26.2.0, Beta) marks people offline immediately (estimated max. one minute after being online). The "online"-Filter doesn't show anyone being active anymore, not everyone has the time nor motivation to use the app all the time (maybe that's what this 'new function' is supposed to be leading us to).
10 Minutes were perfect for making the grid seem alive.
I'd be fine with 5 mins too but this is too much.
I wouldn't like for people to know exactly from when to when I'm online.Why do you keep taking away functions that worked fine? You should…

PROFILE PICTURE SHOULD BE MANDATORY
Profile picture should be mandatory and without exception. There are loads of people without pictures on this app and that is a major safety issue.

Spam and bots! I’m canceling my $300 per year subscription due to constant barrage of spam text, fishing messages, fake profiles. I’m also tired of grindr’s own erectile dysfunction ads. I pay for NO ADS. And. GIVE US OUR RACE FILTERS BACK…. I’m paying for a service and I should be able to filter what I’m attracted to. This app has really gone down hill. It’s not worth $300 a year anymore.

Grindr must handle subscription, plan and show subscription status within grindr app and not under other apps like playstore for privacy
I find it very uncomfortable when I see my grindr subscription is showing under Active Subscription list in playstore app in my mobile. Anyone mishandling or eavesdropping on my phone can find out which I want to maintain privacy on. All grindr related plans, subscription s, subscription status should appear only within grindr and not under any other apps like playstore. Please look into this product feature update request.

Intentaron extorsionarme con mis fotos privadas, diciéndome que le enviarían mis fotos a mis amigos en redes sociales porque han jaqueado mis cuentas, y para que no me hicieran eso tendría que pagar
