Set time on auto delete shared private album
I feel that to further improve privacy, a feature should be provided in which if the user shares his private album with someone, he can decide for how long before the other person can see the album.

Having to weed out the scammers/impersonators. Have Verified Identity tags on profiles and video chat capability.
As a PAYING member of this type of social app, it's my strongly held belief that it is that corporation's DUTY to ensure that the person I'm having a typed convo with, is VERIFIABLY the same person portrayed in the profile. You can do that proactively by providing an avenue for verifying identity like many other sites do, using 3rd party ID verification providers. Secondly, this and other sites aggressively warn users not to leave the app or site to talk because "that's a warning sign of scammers." Ok, then give me the tools to proactively verify identity without having…

Better reporting Setup
There needs to be more options for reporting suspicious activity and ideally more characters. I prefer to use whole words and punctuation to be as clear as I can and not send a message that looks like spilled alphabet soup — lifbej leibfe geuebt htge
I am writting this suggestion because I messaged a profile. I never received a message back from that profile and after a few days of seeing it in my near by and knowing they were not interested I blocked it. I then received a messaging saying hello from a profile with the same picture and…

Feedback
Just saying thanks to the development team and whoever is writing the product roadmaps for all the updates this past year, Grindr feels safer, more stable and loads with no noticable latency pretty much all the time ... And love that the library bloat appears to be gone. Great job.

Don't ban someone for having "not into trans" in their profiles.
I'm gay. I'm not trans. There's no judgment, but I will never, ever be attracted to trans. There's nothing wrong with that. You give me the ability to find trans, but you don't give me the ability to filter it out.
Putting in my profile that I'm not into trans saves everyone time. It's not discriminatory to give someone notification that I don't like men in dresses. Again, no judgment. Live and let live, but don't punish me for being gay and wanting to meet other gay men.

Reporting a Profile for vulnerable person
A young guy I have been talking with seems to be having a difficult time exploring his sexuality to his family believes and the expectations the family have. He has expressed that he wishes to kill himself and I have told him to reach out to Grindr but to my surprise there is no obvious or clear menu option for either someone struggling to send Grindr a message for help or in this case for me to report a concern so a professional can reach out confidentially through Gtindr to start a line of clear communication to give the person…

Appear offline only to some specific people
I’d like to appear offline to some select people (without having to block them); until I release them from “offline group”, they will never see me when I’m online.
For safety reason, another variation is to appear offline for people within specific distance (eg invisible for people in radius 20 feet).

Hide users DP from the grid.
Sometimes we want to open in public transportation or at work just to check messages and some DPs are very naughty, like huge bulges and etc. Would be nice to have an option like we have for password, the little eye we click on top to hide all images from the app.

Users on the same network or jam like Spotify. They can share information about others like iCloude
Users on the same network or nearby can choose if they can be added into others conversion and so on

We should be able to filter who can see us
Something as simple as setting the age range of who can see us could help prevent all the awkward situations where young users get inappropriate photos from users triple their age

Age restriction for chat
There should be an option to set a limit how old someone can be to be able to send you a message. As a younger guy that isn't into older guys it's very annoying to get messages all the time from guy who are 40+.

Pic validation
To reduce the amount of spam accounts/catfishing and stealing of others identity it would help if there was validation of profile pics to ensure they are who they say they are. This could also be done for pics in albums or uploaded pics for guys who do not want a pic on their profile. There is too much catfishing these days. It's becoming a off-putting to the extent that it seems pointless at times as your aren't even aware of who is real or not.

Location
Allow not displaying (exact) distance for everyone, but do NOT allow mock locations! While this option would benefit some. it would make using the app more DANGEROUS by allowing cheaters, fake accounts, gaybashers...
If a real distance or location cannot be used, give the option from a locationlist through Grindr which CLEARLY marks that it is a 'FAKE' location!

Valid Driver's license or id
In order to use this app, a valid driver's license or ID should be required, for anyone who is worried about their info being leaked, all that would need to be shown is you're name and date of birth, and when it expires. I'm sick of being contacted by minors, and having to report them and track down their parents to tell them that their CHILD is doing this shady ass shit.
When you send in a picture of your ID or dl, you should have to take a picture of yourself with a randomly generated number you have to…11 votes -
You should have a chat lock feature
While clicking inbox, app should ask for password or a pin which will enable other persons not to access chats of user.
