Screen shots should be disabled during video calls
I could see screen recorder does not work while video calling in Gr. But we could still take the screenshots during vc.

Filter who can message you
I have had many issues with catfish and people claiming to be other people. A lot of the time these individuals operate from blank profiles. I understand why people use blank profiles but for my own online safety I choose no longer to engage with blank profiles. Rather than having to politely decline on an almost daily basis perhaps the ability to filter out who can message me would be a more effective. ie I only appear in the grid of profiles with face pics or I only appear on the grid of guys withing a certain age group. When someone gets banned you should show them the content for which they were banned for and not just send a banned msg people report others all the time for dumb stuff

🚨 🚨🚨 I reported some accounts who were abusing me and being nasty bullying me and threatening. But I was shocked to see them still on even after weeks and was monitoring their account if it was banned or not on daily basis as they might harm someone one day. While one time I defended my self back and call the guy by saying he is a hypocrite and then I get banned and not him. How is that Logical I don’t understand 😂

Allow users to block specific age groups from messaging/viewing them. I'm so done with creepy old grandpas messaging me and viewing me all the time its uncomfortable and weird. They're old enough to be my grandpa.

Blur photos in Apple Watch notifications
I got in trouble at work today because someone sent me a message, and their profile picture (a naked torso showing pubes) was full screen on my Apple Watch and a patient saw it. Give users the option to still receive notifications, but with profile photos blurred on the Apple Watch. Scruff does this and it’s great.

Unified log in app
One log in and then the ability to pick what profile you wish to use. Categories could be professional personal incognito traveling etc.

Profile creation time / Verification
To minimize catfishing, fake accounts and abusive people, I suggest seeing how long ago a profile was made.
Or adding a badge if someone is new.
People that get reported and blocked just keep creating new profiles to continue harassing others and I’m tired of it.9 votes -

Verifying Age
Grindrs way of verifying age is too easy to manipulate.
Too many 17 and under ages on the app putting 18 and older users at severe risk.You need to upgrade to a valid state ID photo of a license for the system to "OK"
There are too many minors who claim 18 to 22 years of age on the app.

Blocking
Right now, blocking is a four step process at its very least. Most people block more people than they speak to. And it’s a pain to go to each and every profile to do what needs being done. Many times, you may get viewed by a profile that’s not on your radar, and you may want to block it for privacy concerns. My idea is one step, multiple blocking. The same way one would select multiple pictures to delete in one go.

reliable profiles
It is very annoying spams profiles and people that is not really interested to connect and meet. Couldn’t the app show the profile date creation? This way I believe is an additional way to assess a prpfile reliability.
