Customisable Notification Sound Settings
It has been years, and yet still there is no setting to provide the ability to change notification sound settings freely to anything else freely other than what Grindr offers. Can this be sorted out, please? Thanks.

Fake profiles
Get your IT department to get rid of all the fake profiles currently plaguing Grindr. I have just blocked about 7 located nearby. It doesn't matter how many times I block these fake profiles they keep reappearing. Please do something about this.

Since you removed the “block” option i don’t want to pay Grindr anymore. I encourage other users to do the same. If they don’t listen to us, let’s stop paying $.

No permitir los likes en fotos de álbums
Cuando compartes un álbum a alguien, esta persona puede darle like a cada foto del álbum y al hacer eso se ve la notificación en el chat, pero la foto del álbum ya no es privada, ni esta borrosa, eso hace que aunque bloques el álbum se vea la toda la foto en el chat con el mensaje de tal persona reacción a la foto del álbum, se pierde la privacidad aunque se sea un álbum donde no se pueden tomar capturas pero igual si reacciona ya se filtra.

Spam and bots! I’m canceling my $300 per year subscription due to constant barrage of spam text, fishing messages, fake profiles. I’m also tired of grindr’s own erectile dysfunction ads. I pay for NO ADS. And. GIVE US OUR RACE FILTERS BACK…. I’m paying for a service and I should be able to filter what I’m attracted to. This app has really gone down hill. It’s not worth $300 a year anymore.

Bring Back the Block Feature
They NEED to bring back the block feature. I don't care if I haven't texted a person, I should be able to block another person. This has caused a lot of safety concerns as the hide feature doesn't work and I've had people text me who I don't want to interact with because they have threatened my safety. Tener mas de 1 vez la opción de foto efímera. Es importante, tan importante como lo es la aplicación en general.
Tan solo el me hecho de que en la versión gratis solo 1 vez puedas enviar tu foto efímera y en la versión de "Pago" puedes hacerlo más veces refleja la incapacidad de entender y comprender que están terminando Grinder antes de tiempo.

Turn Off Grunt as default!
Keep grunt off as default. There were several times this went off & I thought my phone was hacked. It was alarming. Keep usual tap sound not grunt. This grunt will definitely cause issues with privacy & anyone trying to be discrete. Not ideal for ppl in the closet.

Do not show someone else's location, if the person chooses to hide it's own location
As a user of Grindr for a very long time, I want to address a privacy issue. If a user is willing to keep it's distance hidden from other users, then he should also not be able to see someone else's distance, even if the other person has kept their distance settings "turned on". This results in enhanced privacy and trust building.

List of shared locations, and unshare option, safety
It is very easy to share locations with others, but to find back shared locations in every single chat and keep track of it all is a lot more hastle. Especially since (living) location can be such sensitive information. It would be great to have a list of all my shared locations and an option to unsend/delete those locations, somewhat similar to how albums work.

Please add a new update to your app that will allow us to see when users created their accounts. I'm sure this will protect other people from dangerous individuals using fake profiles.

Hello Grindr leadership! Let's get Grindr into merchant services. Whether it's going out on a date or in need lube, it would be convenient to exchange money on the app in my chat. Dating gets chaotic when we have to launch so many apps, call Lyft, and keep my hunny interested all the while. I want to offer rideshare in app as well.

For those who dont subscribe, some kind of spam-bot, douche -nozzle filter
For the most part sometimes its as convenient as hitting the block, hide, or delete chat option but after awhile these profiles tend to hit with some frequency and cause a detraction which then causes a headache. Theyre easy enough to spot, but the system could use some much needed filtration allowing us to dedicate more of our time to socializing.

Please add a feature to block screenshots of profile photos, private albums, and chats. This is very important for user privacy and safety. Many people can misuse screenshots, so stronger screenshot protection is needed. Please treat this as a serious safety feature request.
