Prevent gang bullying
Manytimes a group of users will gang up on a victim user.. to play around, or keep him busy, or confused. It would be great if Grindr had an option to report these cases or for Grindr to help the victim by giving an alert of some sort informing him that its likely that most messages are coming from the same group of people to not fall for their trap.

Allow users to opt out of being messaged by "recently joined" profiles unless a user initiated contact first
As Grindr allows users to have multiple profiles and unlimited or Xtra features transfer after a very short wait when switching profiles, the ability for abusive exes or stalkers to continue to pursue their victims by repeatedly creating new profiles to harass, bully, or threaten them renders the app unpleasant and at times unusable. Allowing individuals to opt out of being messaged by these profiles is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY as a free feature in the app to protect users. In your setting you should be able to also select
In settings you should be able to also select the age range of only the ages that you wish to see your profile. For example, if you are only looking for someone no older than 30, you can adjust your settings to prevent anyone older than that specified age to see your profile.

Phishing & Bot Profiles
How does this happen? A completely systemic plague of bot profiles spreading phishing attacks with malicious links, and some of them actually can engage in conversation to an extent that if someone wouldn’t really know what to look for or telltale signs of it, would certainly fall into a trap. Make signing up more secure and a wee bit harder than the current state of “just a email and password will do”.

Delayed Block
Ever wish you could block someone without them realizing it?
Imagine if Grindr had a "delayed block" feature.
You can block the profile but instead of disappearing immediately from their chat list, nothing happens until several hours later. The block is activated hours after your last interaction, once your messages are likely hidden under newer chats.
Sure, they could still realize they've been blocked but they are far more likely to have simply forgotten about you.

Time Limited location sharing
It would be great if there was an option to send one’s location only for a specific time work or disappearing after a set amount of time, for example
- share location for one time view
- share location for one hour
- share location until revoked

Retaining messages after blocking events
Please make it possible to retain message threads when a guy blocks. I think it would act as a useful record in the event of sexual assault. It would also provide Grindr with transcripts of guys who get creepy or abusive. The current function is used by too many guys as a form of game, which isn’t good for mental or emotional health. It could still prevent the blocked person from messaging, but at least conversations are preserved, as in say WhatsApp or Facebook. I think this would make a difference for many.

Blocking
If i block someone account on Grindr, And when I go back to my block list to check the blocked profiles, I should be able to view somebody's profile if I have blocked it. If I check somebody's profile which I blocked before I am unable to view the profile and the only option which appears is " unblock " Because if I want to reconsider someone being unblocked I cannot find that person back onto the grid
