Stop making location so accessible! The blank accounts and lack of discretion on this app is already enough. Making it more dangerous
The fact anyone can see how far you are and location accuracy is scary. It may not be scary for people that don’t have much but for the one that do. This app is causing more harm in the sense of lack of privacy.

Fake profiles
Get your IT department to get rid of all the fake profiles currently plaguing Grindr. I have just blocked about 7 located nearby. It doesn't matter how many times I block these fake profiles they keep reappearing. Please do something about this.

I would say it's all the SPAM female and tranny profiles that you allow to make yourselves look more inclusive and like you have more ppl
VERIFIED profiles only. People should have to upload a picture of themselves, holding a piece of paper with a random number generated by Grindr + today's date, to verify they are the person in the profile picture creating the account. That photo doesn't need to be viewed by users but should be verified through Grindr to create a profile PERIOD. You should be promoting safety. You should also be making some attempt to get rid of the fake and spam profiles that are probably just affiliates.

I’d like to share a feature idea based on a common user experience, particularly relevant in regions where being openly gay still carries social risk (such as India and other conservative cultures).
Problem:
In many such regions, users often avoid profile photos for safety reasons. Conversations typically progress to private photo exchanges, but this creates a trust imbalance: one user is expected to share first, after which the other may block without reciprocating. This leads to anxiety, frustration, and negative user experiences, even when both parties had genuine interest.Areas Addressed:

Please remove this app from Sri Lanka
In Sri Lanka gay community is illegal, but this app use so many people. Well as married guys, don't give this app access to Sri Lanka, because it's violated in Sri Lankan legal situation, remove this app from Sri Lanka, if it's not can get legal action

Make it easier to report
Make it easier to report a crime and you should absolutely be holding record of deleted accounts/chats for at least 24 hours server-side in case of crime. If someone sends expiring pics you cant screenshot, and deletes their account immediately after robbing you they’re untraceable? How is that safe?

That a lot of these guys are fake. They don't have any intention other than collect photos and they are very disrespectful. They're ghosts
Make it so that when someone blocks another person all of the chats and photos that was sent to the person blocking the other party are all deleted on his side of it. Also, make it that no one can take snapshots...or at least notify the other person that someone has made snapshots of his photos.

Bring Back the Block Feature
They NEED to bring back the block feature. I don't care if I haven't texted a person, I should be able to block another person. This has caused a lot of safety concerns as the hide feature doesn't work and I've had people text me who I don't want to interact with because they have threatened my safety. If I were to block them from the start, I wouldn't have them approach me. I could already have the step in protecting myself. The hide feature is quite dumb and doesn't hide anyone at all. Allow multiple selections to hide or block from feed
It takes way to long to clear bots, spam and other distasteful profiles off when doing it one by one and each time takes 2-4 selections.

Verification
Doing a verification process by requiring the user to take a selfie of their face to match their photos, more than one selfie would be preferred. This will give the user a verification badge, and I believe every profile should require this to be a user on the app

Favourites tab reinstalled
I now have to press ten buttons to get to favourites and back again it’s absolutely ridiculous, a few days ago it reverted to the old way and I thought great, how wrong I was, reinstate NOW

Taps are all spam now
$40 a month for still getting ads and spam ugh. Do away with taps or learn to detect the only ai bots better!
