User Unfriendly App Design
Grindr is not User Friendly. Doing anything with relative ease requires you to have paid for it. basic requirements are behind a paywall, i can understand limited use for the free app, but not being able to send more than one expiring photo at once unless i am paying loads of money in a week is entirely unfair. the only reason people use grindr is because it's the most used in the world. not because it is good, not because they care, its because they hold the entire market under their thumb. FREE SEARCH
Searching should be free, we should not have to pay to search profiles. That is bullshit. We should be able to mock gps and look at anyone we want. Also add a search by name bar. So we can find each other with the names.

The cost of simply being able to go beyond the end of my street
Why for the love of God are there TWO separate systems for “unlocking” profiles of guys? I can’t think of a good reason except to profiteer.
My suggestion:
Loosen the criteria on what we can see for free.
Merge XTRA and unlimited and lower the cost.
Allow us to see ALL profiles of who has viewed us - from a safety point of view, we do need to know things like that.6 votes -
Stop the constant ads to Xtra subscribers
I pay for Xtra, so why do I have to endure non-stop ads for boosts or to upgrade to Unlimited? The benefits of XTRA are very few, and Unlimited is ridiculously priced. At least give us an ad free experience

Try a lower price
If this app wants to make more money try lowering the membership prices. I am positive that you will increase the revenue of you cut the price by as much as 50% or more. That increases the membership base which in turn allows you to charge more for ad space. In fact, you could make membership $5 and still make lots of money with the added bonus of making a difference between those who will or won't be paid members.

Filter out HnH / Chems users
Allow a freetext filter on profile names (which is where Chems / HnH Grindr users make themselves known) so that people can filter out Chems / HnH folk from their grid. It should also have the effect of hiding your profile to anyone who meets the filter criteria.

Unshare all
Hi theee. We need an “unshare all” option within sharing albums. I have an unlimited account and I just hit a 500 share limit with my album but now I have to manually unshare it?! That’s crazy! Please make this unshare all option available asap!

Just some thoughts
Can you half the price? $AU60+ /pm is way too expensive, I get both Netflix and Disney+ for the nearly half the price. Can you add ethnicity to the web app and sync filters with mobile app and web app?

Stop being greedy capitalists
I took 6 months off grindr and so much is behind a paywall now its absolutely useless. This app is absolute garbage and exploiting marginalized communities. Any LGBTQ+ people working for you should be ashamed of themselves. This was the last queer space online that didn't leech money from people who are statistically more likely to be poor. I used grindr for years and i hate this change and am personally disgusted. Shame on your abhorrent capitalist ethics

Please do some consideration for young people too to be able to pay. So unfair to show only 15 profiles in search. Why this app suddenly became so greedy

There is no longer any way to contact for help, ideas, etc. Your contact page is broken.
I would again suggest AGAIN that you hire some competent IT staff
