Phishing bots and invasive ads??
Get rid of the ads that automatically open internet browsers and redirect to sites that probably lead to viruses. When one of those comes up, the only way to get back to Grindr is by terminating the app and opening it again. Grindr Sold Out
Grindr made a huge mistake by selling ads to this company that makes all these TS and “my big 10 in” profile taps. Have they done anything about it? No, because they are making money while the users that pay money are overall annoyed. But why fix it if no revenue is being lost? I’ve wrote support several times, no response…there’s no response because there is not a fix. Better ads integration
If ads are required to fund grindr, the current obtrusive, irrelevant full page ads will ultimately lead to the app’s demise. You need to partner with local LGBTQ+ organisations, events and companies to integrate a discrete ads stream, or banner in a way which does not interfere with the user experience, and advertises things which may actually be relevant. For example, a local movie showing, local pride event, health supplements, gym memberships, activities, lgbt+ sponsored companies etc. This should provide more revenue to increase free features, decrease the cost of paid features and promote communities, rather than just annoying users…

Stop with the fucking adverts
Absolutely infuriating. This is more about money making than providing a service. You seem to care very little about user experience.
Too many adverts. Adverts are far too long. Adverts don’t allow you to get rid of them easily, the cross at the side doesn’t work and I have to click onto a fucking Temu advert. It feels like you don’t care about the type of advert either. Temu is a terrible company but you allow yourselves to be connected with crap, this doesn’t really put you in a good light.

Lawsuit on the horizon
Why has no one presented a class action lawsuit against grindr for the overwhelming amount of privacy violations that you implement in your aggressive ad targeting. Your developers and marketing team need to start selling ad space to someone who isn’t forcing our devices to open into other browsers and apps. Also, the amount of times I’ve had to opt myself out of your AI setting, which I never approved in the first place is absolutely asinine.

To many useless ads, to many fake profile, to many spam’s , anyhow by looking at all the complaint in here and you guys are doing nothing to address them it’s obvious that you really don’t care about the community and are only interested in the money , we just need to keep looking for a better apps than Grindr
