1. Podcasts ad

I pay Xtra. To NOT have ads. Yet, I get the "Who's the asshole" ad on my messages tab every time I open the app (and every time I open the app I deleted): I don't wanna point out who is the asshole, but is very clear to me.

Stop. Showing ads to paying users.

2. Ethnicity options, Latino for Hispanic

Latino is not the same as Hispanic.
Latinos should be Europeans who speak languages derivate from Latin.
People from Central, South American countries are Hispanic mostly.
Could be better change Latinos for Hispanics in Etnicity options

3. Vitality

My cousin was deeply committed to supporting addiction recovery, and I was eager to contribute to her mission. I searched for a website offering charity event ideas and discovered a UK-based platform called charity fundraising. It provides a variety of fundraising suggestions, such as walks, auctions, and virtual challenges, along with practical guides for organizing your own events. The site makes it simple to participate or donate, and its UK focus ensures relevance with local event listings. It was instrumental in helping me collaborate with my cousin to create a meaningful impact.

8. The "For you"

I agree with the ability to turn off the "for you". It seems to be an extremely flawed algorithm as I would never even view the profiles of 90% of the guys that Grindr is recommending. And having to pay to use something I am forced to scroll past is about as exciting as the ads that just don't go away. Instead of concentrating so much on shit to charge for maybe concentrate on making things better.

9. Less ads and lower fees

Posting ads helps finance the app, so why overkill with ads and yet still overcharged for all these “features” that used to be part of the original app,
Now you get greedy and startled charging way overpriced fees on the features you previously had available for free!
   Thats literally price gouging!
And the cost of the items are unreasonable,
Grinder was better when it was all included and either u did the free version, and made it work. Or u could pay a monthly flat fee to get the upgrades features and it was a one time flat rate fee that includes it all.
I remember when it was only 9.99 or 19.99 a month to get Grindr extra and you were set up with premium enhancements.
Now yall have each feature listed separately and charge multiple fees for each of them. That are priced so beyond the value they give.
And yet all the new upgraded and costs and extra subscriptions, and the app is overloaded with women and trans and bots, more then ever before!
What a shame!! Grindr used to be he best. Easy to use and gay men has a place to accomplish what we wanted it for. Now.. it’s a shit show, that’s has more negative then good issues!!
   A
Spiffies is def going to outshine you and hopefully hurt your bottom line. Bc you’re losing alot of customers that have been loyal since your app launched.

11. Take Christina Aguilera out of a grid space

Why is she even being bumped on grindr? What tf did she do for the queer community, or is she just an “icon”? Sorry but make this make sense for me…

For real though, I don’t give a fuck about that bitch, especially when she’s taking up valuable grid real estate.
I mean honestly, aren’t the inbox ads, pop up ads and click thru ads enough??

You already charge an ARM AND A LEG for your product which IS NOT RELIABLE and always has bugs so it hardly works as it is supposed to…

Then you run these intrusive ads that make the free version of this app basically non-functional …

Like is there an end to your greed? How much money is enough? It’s fucking sickening and shameful. Question: are your CEOs and upper management even LGB? Or is it just your everyday group of fat cat corporate fucks enriching themselves with an overpriced product that doesn’t even work but is totally necessary for the community of people it serves.

Really makes me question some things…

12. advertising

I as other complainants on here , am annoyed by the always misplaced advertising , sometimes in the middle of typing a response to someone which is extra annoying .
What else bothers me is that the ads seem to be targeting hetero interest groups ( eg I get job at BHP MINING - and ladies fashion or stupid hetero social apps )

I would welcome that Grindr looks at other gay social apps ( romeo hornet jack’d scruff squirt etc ) how they handle their advertising , subtle , and I am sure they make enough profit from their chosen companies .
So PLEASE change the way you place your advertising, less intrusive
