It is ridiculous that an add appears everytime that you try to open a profile
Iit is ridiculous that everytime that you are going to see a profile directly make you see and add, okay finally get it, go back to the dashboard and pum another add, it's becoming very stressful, we understand that you guys try to make money but forcing like this...

remove the large ad plis
Place this ad between the photos. When I scroll through the photos I see the ad. It is an opportunity to place more ads and they will be less invasive and can be related to items in the photo that was or will be viewed.

So many adds, I can'y enjoy this app like a would,
Should have control about adds, when I open like 3 chats , the app show me add, then, I go out to app and back, the same, opnes 3 chats and the app show me add, and those adds show's when I'm searching persons in home app.34 votes -

Stop the ads every 2 seconds
Can't even type the word hi without two ads popping up the ads in the profile section and banners are enough the pop up ads need to go. You a forcing people to leave and use other apps not the business model you should go by

Stop force pushing ad messages after we have deleted it!!
If I open and read an ad message from Grindr, such as the ad message for Monkeypox, LET ME DELETE THE AD!
I’m constantly deleting ad messages from Grindr because they are resent after I delete them.
LET US DELETE THEM ONCE AND BE DONE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grindr is a boner killer
The fact ads appear when you first try to reply to or text a guy when you log on AND the app punishes you AFTER the ad to ask you to pay to NOT get ads. I CAN’T afford it and am in the habit of opening Grindr, opening an already read message, waiting for the ad to start, closing the app, then opening to read an actual unread message.
I’m at the stage where I sacrifice a good chat just to close the app because an ad interrupts the chat. I just don’t care to continue the conversation because…

have respect for the LGBTQ+ community and its nuances.
Honestly, this app has completely lost or NEVER BE LGBTQ-friendly intentioned and purposed. Ads can be terribly long. I have times a couple of ads at almost 120 seconds. That is insane. All it makes me do is hate the advertiser.

Ad free tier
I would be more than willing to pay $5 monthly ($5/wk maximum) for a simple ad-free tier. Zero of the other premium features are appealing or make up the outlandish expense of the XTRA or Unlimited features. The ads otherwise make grindr almost completely nonfunctional.
